Has anyone noticed... while riding the bike at night with headlight on when we are at signal and bike is idling the headlight intensity is less as if the light is working magneto and not on battery. When we accelerate the light is back to normal. I think that is the safety feature to safeguard the battery life.

      Hello guys.

I took a test ride today of the Apache 200 at Abhishek Automobiles at Saki Naka in Mumbai. Planning on going and booking tomorrow as its Eid 😀

Just wanted to know if it's a good dealership and if someone has purchased a bike from there before. If not, can someone suggest a dealership where they've had a good experience?

I reside in Bandra and have noticed that most of the showrooms are situated in the northern direction.

      Thanks in advance.

Well don't think it really matters when they launch akula. Looking at the availability of rtr200 currently, even if the akula is launched in January the bike will be available months later. We would only get to see the bike in Production guise.

Even for rtr200 bookings in bangalore they are still asking for 2 months waiting period and that too for the base version. That is just ridiculous.

People are waiting for Akula but the full option RTR 200 is not available yet. If you visit TVS showrooms, it crushes your confidence to invest in a TVS bike costing 100k+ because they don't appear or act professional. It just feels like a cattle market.

Amen brother. I've made it my life's mission to warn people against investing in TVS unless they can DIY.

not defending tvs, but then, which bike showroom people act professional?
i went to purchase the hornet 160 a couple of month ago, and they actually treated me according to my clothes (was wearing shorts)...
i had to correct them a couple of times, and i told them to call their manager to talk to me.

Ehh!! Thats not limited to only tvs showrooms even bajaj & honda have dealers like this... It totally depends on places to places... The only big bummer is that tvs is not ramping up the rtr 200 production.

😃 sadly some business places judge people by their appearance or dress. Honda in my town may do the same with me but at least they have their products showcased properly and people are their to talk to you. When I went to inquire about Apache RTR 200, the sales rep. didn't pay much attention. It's like he wanted to leave. He said they had only one bike in showroom (basic) and he had no idea when would the variants start arriving. Also the service center looked awful. I'm concerned how can I trust them with an expensive bike!

The same thing goes wid the bajaj have u ever seen the condition of bajaj service centres... Man!! They are so horribly wid the servicing of the bikes... They have a unique talant to destroy a good machine..& if u don't believe me... Just go to ns ,As or even rs200 forums see how owners are disappointed by the After sell service of bajaj... Even i faced that issue so many time... *Sigh*

Maybe, maybe not. I've never owned a Bajaj till date. I don't plan on investing in one anytime soon either. However, I have owned a TVS before and that was an ugly break up. If dat h*e eva come knockin' at my door again, imma b***hslap the s**t outta her. That's how strongly I feel about TVS. And that's me being fair, because I absolutely loved my RTR. So you know how much I hate telling people they shouldn't buy that amazing bike.
