Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Yeah more or less it's same. They never surprise us. In day, a new customer could become their enemy. It's not a matter of choosing a cool bike, but we should also see who's selling it.Originally posted by tanishq View PostTrust me i can feel you bro....!! But there is nothing much we can do abt this... The scenario is same wid the Indian manufacturers......

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Normal. As long as there is battery power after the bike is switched off, and the battery powers the other peripherals including the starter, there isn't any issue per se. But if the flickering is so bad that it almost takes power from the magneto, like mopeds and scooters, then we have problems with the battery. Very slight flickering is acceptable, which is almost not noticeable. I would suggest you check your battery, and check if it's adequately charged.Originally posted by rakowli View PostHas anyone noticed... while riding the bike at night with headlight on when we are at signal and bike is idling the headlight intensity is less as if the light is working magneto and not on battery. When we accelerate the light is back to normal. I think that is the safety feature to safeguard the battery life.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Above one is not an issue, clearly explained in manual that headlight will be illuminated 50% only if not riding like idling or engine is off.
Will come to 100% as we start riding or accelerate.
By no means it will come down if moving slowly . while idling it comes to 50% after few seconds as said above.
Better power management I would say[emoji1]

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Scratches and spots will be noticed quickly on white but white has a very attractive look. Personally I didn't really like the colours of Apache 200. Gloss red and metallic gray should have been included. Also the apache branding on the tank should have 3D type like the pulsar. If I had to choose a colour, I would definitely choose the white.

I personally like black so.. purchased the matt black one.... Scratch will be more prompt on dark colours... So decided which one u like...i think white will be more suitable as per ur need.Originally posted by abhishek_jain View PostHey guys help me with colour..!
1) Is white prone to scratches.? Does it require more attention.?
2) Other then white, matte gray or matte black.?
Note: The places where I park my bike is too stuffed up, which means often there are touches and scratches.

I apologize for the quality of the picture, as bike was given for service and my friend took it from there, he sent me this picture. I'll share detailed pictures of the visor tomorrow when I'll go there. But he said that the visor looks good on bike.Originally posted by roamer View PostWhat's the cost of the same? Matt grey will suit your needs the most. Scratches and dirt won't be seen a lot. There's a overdrive video in YouTube of a walk around video of a grey one. Do check it out, it looks so good because grey contrasts nicely with the golden color of the forks and etc. And grey is a very rare color on a bike.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Basically the color choice should be considered with your priority. How much you want your bike to attract attention? Do you want novel color rarely seen on roads? How much visibility you seek in fog or darkness? What durability of paint you are looking for? and lastly, repair-ability factor, in case you want to touch-up the paint locally with less expense (not in ASA). A dark color hide the scratches but shows dust after a ride. Inversely, light color will show scratches and get dirty quickly. IMHO all TVS bikes get ****ed up (in looks) after the use of few months; may be their design is basically not that refined.Originally posted by abhishek_jain View Post+1 for the 3D type branding

All the selection depends on the availability of your choice within your time frame.
I booked for Matt Red but really wanted the nice red Pulsar is offering. As a second thought I am thinking to change to Matt Yellow but as ABS is going to arrive after a hell of time, I am looking forward to TVS to wake up and offer more choices.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Thanks a lot bro. Got a bit late to act on your advise. I already went and booked one at Abhishek TVS. The staff is very helpful and I'm pleased with my buying experience. All my questions were answered patiently and I've been promised delivery by Wednesday after clearing finance regulations.Originally posted by Vishal Rohra View PostGo to Mahim Matrix TVs opp the church they have service station near by also don't know how good they are
I asked for another test ride today and was lucky to get one while it was drizzling. I've had issues riding in the rains with my previous bikes. Rode for around 15-20 mins around the showroom in mediocre traffic situation and was very pleased with the bike's performance and braking.
Had to be sure as I'm going to be downgrading by 300cc 😂
Will post some pictures and my reviews as soon as I get my hands on it.
