    Hmmm he sounded 100% sure.
Need to wait till December and see.
Service center guys usually do not have any clue about these matters and sometimes they just bluff. 1 or 2 years to bring a variant to the market after announcing?! By that time, newer models will take over the market and nobody will care about it. I think bike enthusiasts do have more accurate information than these guys at the service center.

regarding running in, i would recommend you to follow the procedure written in the manual. they know what they are writing. sudden changes in loads are highly detrimental to your engine. dont do it. your half knowledge can actually spoil your bike...

      ok bro thanks

Manual says oil change at first and third service. But mine got changed at second service as well as the engine oil had many metal scrapings.

              First between 500-750
              Second between 2500-3000
              Third between 5000-6000
              This is what I remember.

I guess service intervals are 2000 km or 2 months whichever is earlier.
Also, these folks prefer topping up oils in the intermediate services.

                For example :
                1st service - oil change
2nd - top up (if needed)
                3rd - oil change
                ***repeat***

It however is a humble advice to owners to insist on oil changes (and oil filter too, if applicable) every time you take your bike for service.

Even if oil is not dirty???
I read somewhere that oil change interval is longer for fully synthetic oil, isn't it true??

I doubt the bike comes with FS oil from factory. If it does, then you can observe up to 5k km intervals before oil change.
Otherwise for such mild engines, SS is more than enough. From 2000 km up to 2500 km drain intervals and cheap(er) than FS as well.

                    What oil does SVC use?

That's true regarding topping up oil but service interval is 3k/ 3 months after 2nd service.

I asked the SVC guy to change the oil during 2nd service but he told as it is synthetic, will be changed in 3rd service around 6K KMs.

I told to check the oil for metal parts/impurities and if found ,replace it. During delivery I asked about it they told oil is fine and it did not need even top up as oil level was fine .

I have driven around 200Km after 2nd service , should I change the oil?.

                      Good day.

They used TVS true 4 full synthetic oil in first service, and recommendation is same oil for future services/oil change.

In that case, oil drain at 500 km and the 'next' change at 6k is about right.
That makes oil change intervals of roughly 5500 km, which IMHO is a little high but okay. 5k is the number for me.

Don't worry about metal particles. Most of it would have flushed in the first 500 km service. There would be minute amounts of particles in the next change too, but its the job of a good oil to keep all such debris suspended in the oil itself and yet clean engine internals further.
