My experience with Ramkay TVS medavakam/velachery is positive. They listen to you and try to solve the issue. They do followup after the service to make sure you are satisfied. They have a rating system, if you give lower rating they will make sure your issue is resolved and ask for a good rating.

Apple TVS in OMR is to be avoided.

Thank you. I chosed ramkay adayar because they have dedicated BS3 RTR for test ride, so delivery vehicles are not abused for sure... What is the mileage you are getting so far? And what speeds you ride

The new TVS Apache 200 has been officially launched in India and Indonesia. Though the company claims top speed is 129 kmph, we recorded 149 kmph.

Not sure if any mod is involved.

At 14000kms, this bike still rides best to make you feel nirvana.... 1st paid servicing will be due in next 1000 kms. Still this bike rides like new. Only issue which i am facing now is the rear brake making squeaky noise. Last time after servicing got the same rectified but the noise has reoccurred. Will get the same done in this servicing. Mileage : 34~37 kmpl depending upon your riding style. Top speed achieved: 130 KMPH. Vibration creeps in after 90KMPH speed but i i think that can be controlled once we start using a better oil. TVS synthetic is good but not for long, maybe it starts losing the viscosity after 2000 kms. Shell or motul Synthetic should do a better job in minimising the vibrations after 90-100 kmph speed.

Can anybody help me in better spark plug? I am unable to find a good spark plug apart from the normal regular plug which is used for this bike. i have changed the spark plug just now about 500kms back but it is the normal one. I am looking for a average performance plug if available.

                The RTR200 4V is a stock bike.

The RTR200 2V is a 180 running the same exact engine size as the 200 4V. With custom 127.5Jets and conical air filter. That bike's crazy fast, overtakes a 4V with ease after 100kmph.

Guys I need your help. I have recently changed to Philips xtreme headlight bulb which was working fine till today.
Today when I checked my headlight after starting the bike, it did not power on. When I examined the bulb, the filament was find and I also switched another bulb which was also not working.
Even the high beam indicator was not working when pass light was pressed.
Please could you let me know if this a problem of blown fuse? If so is it replaceable by DIY? Where is the location of the fuse if so?

                  Thanks in advance.

Fuse box is situated under the seat, i think the front seat not remembering exactly. You can check the fuse even if it is proper try and replace it. Extra fuse is already there inside so no need to buy immediately.

If you ask me, i would say you can go fast now but not full throttle. For top speed run still wait for another 1000 kms. Now you can easily take the bike above 100 but dont go for top speed as the bike is still new and needs to open up fully. Its like taking one step ahead at a time. Enjoy the bike but don't murder the engine, if it becomes too rough in its early life then your ride will be spoilt for lifetime.....

Start to take the speed above 100 or atleast 100. Bike requires that for smoother engine. It needs to run in all the RPM bands. That is for what a bike is made. But be soft on acceleration to acheive good fuel economy.
