Guys, the prices that you are getting are just too good. During June, I enquired about RTR200 in Kolkata and the on-road price I received was 1.18K. And the ex-showroom price here alone is around 100K. Not sure how you guys are getting this price.

Below is the price break up

Ex Showroom - 101625
Registration and Insurance - 15850
Smart Card and HSKP - 1200

BTW, I have never heard of incidental charges or anything like that, most probably it is BS. Please check with some other dealerships. Well the rates in Pondy are lower compared to Kolkata or Chennai. So, 102K is still possible. Lucky you!

The incidental cost is like BS to me. I will approach other dealers also.

They have added Road Tax and incidental charges. Whether this is normal after the GST ? I though there wouldn't be any additional taxes.

Also i think i never paid incidental charges for my previous vehicle.

I asked the same, the show room sales girl could not answer me properly. They simply said, we are not sure about that.. i walked off after that.

Its always better to ask for detail breakup of the cost and can avoid hidden charges.

Hi Guys

Need some help. Last night i dropped my bike while parking it at PG (got distracted looking at others and thought the side stand was on and leaned the bike only for the bike to tip over ..i didn't let it fall hard .was able to slow it down a bit). A little bit of petrol spilled out from the over flow pipe and i thought i escaped easy.

But today morning when i tried to start the bike it wouldn't start. I can see the console is starting up fine and the bike does crank but dies before the engine properly starts (engine rpm still below 1k). I have checked on the spark plug and fuses and tried to spot a loose connection but frankly i am not that good at diagnosing faults.

Can someone here help me out with suggestions...much appreciated.

@dovahkinn check your petrol pipe is there any leakage on that might be the supply getting blocked.. Also check the spark plug remove it clean it and again put it back.. Just check

Hi thanks man for the quick reply. I am in office so cant do much. But my roommate did check on the bike during lunch and apparently it started on first crank (i had tried 8 times to start it and it did crank but the engine died almost immediately for me) Not sure what happened. Planning to check it out at night.

Thanks again.

Thanks man. Checked the bike couldn't spot any issues. Went for the fourth service today and told them about it and they didn't find any issues (is what they told me).

Also does anyone know which wire to tap for having auxiliary lights connected to an ignition powered switch. I got auxiliary lights from AliExpress and want to connect it so that it powers on only if the key is turned. rakowli could you let me know if you have connected the led lights in this manner.

Yes i have connected it thru ignition powered switch. But i can't help you in this as i have no idea about the wiring thing. I have zero or very less knowledge about wiring.
That only a mechanic can help you and i have done it from out (my trusted mechanic) and not from TVS.
