Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Don't think about top speed much, just enjoy the bike. Company claims 130mph but some bikers have even confirmed 140+. I have personally done 130kmph. And I think its ok. More then anything I enjoy the bike everyday on highway and city both.Originally posted by Sparsh bhargava View PostHey, can I know whats the maximum speed this bike has touched, I have touched 134

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Its depends upon person to person....NS engine is not as smoother as RTR. It is also a fun bike. Quality also differs as TVS is better the bajaj....and last thing is it depends on how the owner keeps the bike.....Originally posted by Devarsh Patel View PostI think NS-200 is a much better option because it has got a lot of up market feature like liquid cooling and others.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
I wonder when TVS will be done with all the testing and start launching bikes beginning with the 200 FI - ABS version(which is said to be already being exported since last year). Though yes, the bikes are top notch in quality due to this extensive testing. Apparently the new 160 caught testing: TVS Apache RTR 160 facelift spotted for first time - Video.

Don't expect abs with carb. They might only launch and with fi.Originally posted by Varun47 View PostHi Guys,

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Hi All,
I have just upgraded myself from TVS Victor to TVS Apache RTR200 4v titanium grey
. So far i am really happy with my bike. Awesome acceleration.Yes, i have driven Victor most of my life and this feeling of 200cc engine is overwhelming to say the least
. However, i have a question. How does one normally apply brakes? Back in Victor (both drum brakes) days i used to apply both rear and front in equal proportions to avoid burnout of rear brake, as suggested by TVS garage mechanic. Does the same principle apply to disk brakes as well? Or should i stick to rear brake only and use front disk for emergency only?
Thanks.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Congrats on your New Ride. Braking wise please stick to your mechanic's advice but just be a little subtle with the Front brakes, don't grab a hand full of brake lever, try to brake with just two fingers and practice the same way till you can have better judgement with the braking of the bike. Initially you may feel the bike fishtailing when you hard brake but it will normalize soon with more Kms added to the Odo.Originally posted by vinty View PostHi All,
