I am buying a used RTR 200 4v (bs3) with pirelli tyres which was registered on Feb 2017 for 73k. Is the price ok.

Someone selling after barely 6 months of use is a bit odd. The BS3 Pirelli version came for about 1.15L OTR. So while at 73k seems a great deal, check thoroughly and review service history if possible. Especially for any crash damage to the frame etc. Also the engine and it may have been run in badly by an owner.

Also, what's the ODO on it?

Reviewed the bike completely, had done 2 test drives, bike looks in mind condition, kms clocked is 4400.

Coming from rtr 160, bike feels very powerful, as the 5bhp increase feels great, also the 18nm torque is too good. I do felt the 160 is slugish at the low end, 200 is quite different, i have to get used to it.

            Hi guys....

I'm planning to buy a bike.. my choices are RTR 200 and NS 200,

In addition to the power, looks, pillion comfort is also important for me so please share your experiences on below questions...

Is the pillion seat in RTR 200 is comfortable for the ladies who sits one side.... And is foot rest avaible or not?

Since the seats are split seats plus a taller pillion seat it's best not have the ladies seated one side. Pillion foot rest is like a normal one not the ones that are wide which comes with the saree guard. The pillion seats are a tad bit on the harder side but comfortable enough up to 100kms at stretch with the pillion sitting with legs on each side.

Guys, recently went to the showroom only one bike left in stock, the next batch will come after 10 days or so. The bike that is left has a recorded top speed to 132 and odo is at 0.9kms and also the people at the showroom revved the nuts out of the bike in front of me, my question being is it advisable to go for the bike or should I wait 10 days more?

Much better wait for new stock. 10 days is not too long.

That is quite irresponsible from the showroom folk. But what's weird is how the ODO is not even upto a km and yet the top speed has almost been maxed out :/. Did they reset it on a test bike?

No point taking a risk. 10 days is hardly a delay. Wait for the new stock and choose one after inspection.

Which showroom is this by the way?

I don't know what they did, just walked in today asked them to start the bike up, during which they revved the bike almost to 10k rpm. Checked the high speed mode and saw 132. I asked them about it and they just blatantly denied te bike had been used. My guess they put the bike in main stand, put it in gear and revved the bike. My uncle's gixxer also has it's speedo connected to the rear wheel. It is a small dealership near my home. Will go to another dealership on monday and book the bike. I live in Siliguri, West bengal. The way they handled the new bike, I pity the owner. Thanks for the suggestion will wait for the new lot.

                          Hi,
I have been eyeing for this machine since long, but I was waiting for the fi version.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the company is that sure when to launch.

Meanwhile, I was just browsing Olx earlier today and got hold of a less than 2 months old rtr 200 Matt Black at 90k.
And it seems fine to me as the seller initially quoted 1L, the reason is that he's shifting to another city and is getting a company car there, and he's in a hurry.
But, I would like you all people views about price, so, should I take the deal further or not?
A prompt response would be very appreciated.

Edit: ODO reading is about 350 (less than that actually but i don't remember the exact figure).

Even the tyre threads (the rubber pins lookalike from side parts of the tyre) are still there.
All papers are there and i have already cross-checked the bike for scratch and damages, none so far.

For me it is a good deal. Since it is less then 2 months old, there should not be any problem and 20k less. And also I never heard manufacturing defects or major problem with this bike. But seller reasoning not believable for me. I never seen someone throw there bike because of car.

The seller is a married man and doesn't want the hassles of taking from one state to another and re-registering in another.
Moreover he's shifting with his complete family.
(all these are said by the seller itself)

Even i suggested him to take the bike with him, it will probably cost him about 10K around, but he doesn't want all that hassles given that he has already too many things to manage.
I guess, i can procees with the transfer then...

Then you can probably negotiate another 5k. Just give a try... I am also negotiating a 5 months old bike here in Chennai
