Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Had a terrible experience at the TVS SVC I go to.
So my 3rd service was due and I got a call in the morning to come for it around 12. I duly rode to the SVC which is not exactly close to my home. Upon reaching, I am informed that due to excessive no. Of vehicles received, if I give my bike, it will not be delivered until late tomorrow or day after. As I am generally terrified of leaving my RTR behind anyway overnight, I refused and headed back to the packed in-premises parking..
Upon reaching my vehicle, to my horror I find three deep scratches on the right side tank most probably caused by one of the mechanics riding past on another bike without any care whatsoever. I immediately complained but was informed they can't be sure who did it and they will 'try' to reduce the scratches by polish.
My RTR is matt red in colour and there is no f****ng way they can fix the deep scratches with polish. The only reason i go to the company SVC which are utterly useless was to get done with the free services. But now, I am 100% sure I am never going back. My trusted local mechanic is ace and I have given the bike to him for the service now.
Screw company SVCs.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
U should atleast write a complain email to the tvs & tell them how badly they have handled ur bike. They just can't get away like this. Atleast u can give it a try.Originally posted by ALI.R View PostHad a terrible experience at the TVS SVC I go to.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
This is my first post here. So this is going to be a long and cluttered post. I am about to purchase my First bike with my own money. Earlier my dad gifted me a HeroCD-deluxe in 2007. I know you must be laughing at me right now but it was kind of a big deal for a 10th class student. Then I had an activa from 2014-2016. This is the first time for me buying a little bit powerful bike. I went to Satyaa Motors near Tambaram Sanatorium in Chennai to enquire about RTR 200. I applied for two wheeler loan through HDFC agent that I met on that dealership. The quotation is as follows:
On road price = Rs. 1,08,604 + Rs. 250 (RTO Charges) + Rs. 500 (Affidavit charges as I moved here recently and don't have an address proof). I have got a rental agreement and gas connection to prove my local address but they said I will need an affidavit also for registration.
Now let's come to the financing part. The finance person offered this as the final deal: Rs.31,789 downpayment + Rs. 250 +Rs. 500. After that, 11 installments of Rs. 7865 each. He said the interest rate is 9.85%. Can anyone tell please tell me if this is an ok deal?
Now let's come to the next step. I needed White color but it wasn't available. The colors readily available were Matte Red, Silver and Black. So they told me that it would take around 20 days for the white color (And that too metallic white only. They said matte is not available) to arrive. I booked the bike on 14 August. And that too even without a test drive. I don't know why but I have always loved the Apache. Anayways I haven't received the bike yet. I made repeated calls and they told me that there is some billing issue and the bike will be available by 15th September. Then I talked to the finance guy. He told me that after the bike arrives in the showroom he would take another 4 days to hand over the bike to me after all the processing. Has anyone else faced such an issue?
Also can u suggest me which one would be better choice: matte white or metallic white?

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Bro many people told me that it is a personal loan and it can't be less than the home loan. Home loan is @ 8/9%. So for bike loan it has to be more than that. How come you are getting loan at 3.99%?Originally posted by stoneshwar View PostYes even my Bangalore dealership is offering 3.99% finance option. Seems good.

I dunno man, I paid full cash. This was the offer given to me if I wanted to go for finance. I didn't ask for more info. There is a lot of press coverage also for this, just google "TVS 3.99% loan offer".Originally posted by Ysahil92 View PostBro many people told me that it is a personal loan and it can be less than the home loan. Shriram Finance offers 10.5% & Capital First offers 9~10%.
This is the finance interest offer I got from Ramkay TVS, Adyar Chennai.
Ysahil92, you can give a try there.
