Put the bike in main stand, lift the front wheel up & ask someone to hold the handle bar tight. After this rotate the wheel & check the rotating wheel from back for any unusual/wobble movement next check if the wheel is having any horizontal free movement (I assume it won't as it is a new bike, these thing happens with old bikes with worn bearings). Wobble can also come if your rear wheel isn't aligned, note the chain adjuster marking on the swing arm (both sides) for a quick check if they are on similar level.
If everything mentioned above is fine then the cone set is the only issue.

I did as you said, no unusual wheel wobble but there is a sound like something is grinding, like kheesh kheesh. I assume that is coming from the disc due to dust.

Yeah that's dust, get it pressure washed. Use wet & dry newspaper combo to wipe out the disc (you will dirt on the newspaper).

Bought my apache on 5th September and everything has been done rode around 700kms going for first service tomorrow, there is excessive tappet noise and cam chain noise even after riding 2 - 3 kms. Will adjusting them work or shall i ask for head replacement??

Issue update: Went to SVC today they fixed it, it was a lose cone set. Anyway all the wobbles and khatak noise is now gone. One thing though, I asked them to check the engine oil, upon checking, the engine oil was slightly less than the recommended level. Any reason for that? The bike has run around 350kms. Good thing they topped it up for free.

Can anybody suggest how to maintain the Matte colour of the bike? And also the right speed for the gear shifts according to their experience.

Matte colour doesn’t need much of polishing or coating just keep your vehicle clean by regular wash and one more perk it doesn’t fade out much. As for gear shifts follow the rpm rather than the speed. Shift up at approximately 4500 rpm when your bike is in run-in.

Thank you. Is normal shampoo wash okay for Matte?

A brief recap. I needed a white apache 200. I went to Sathyaa motors but white color was not available. So I made a booking on 14 Aug. Finally after waiting for 1.5 months, today I got a call from Sathyaa Motors that the bike is now available. So today I have to go there and make the downpayment. Let's see how much more time do they take to finally deliver the bike to me. I will go there today in the evening maybe. Any suggestions whether I should inspect the bike first and how?

I dont prefer SATHYAA MOTORS. YOu can move on with others Dealers like RAMKAY TVS, prabha TVS, Kohinoor TVS.
