Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Answer in previous page bro. There's a black rubber on the sprocket.Originally posted by TVSian View PostI think yeah. Not sure though.TVS Engineers should have marked them like this to differentiate from the noisier design previously. But lol, true. That chain noise has become more like a soul and nature of RTRs xD

Rust on chain isn't normal. Its time for cleaning and relubricating.Yeah,Ask the SVC to do it.Originally posted by stoneshwar View PostSeeing spots of rust on my chain. Normal?
Wanted to check sprocket also also but the lower bolt is REALLY tight. Afraid I will round the phillips screw head. Will try with WD40 or ask svc to loosen it for me.[My Motorcycle]

Airfilter change for RTR 200.
The filter on the 200 is different from the one on the 180 & unfortunately it cannot be cleaned, replacement is the only option here.

Suzuki Fiero 150 BS Mikuni carburetor to Apache RTR 200
Hello friends,
Here is my second DIY after ABS retrofitment on RTR 200. Now I installed original Mikuni make CV type carburetor on RTR 200 with some jet modification.
With Mikuni, engine is running very smooth, low end torque improved and idle speed can brought down to 950rpm. Idle circuit suites very well.
Overall harshness reduced and idle is more stable compare to stock carburetor.

Reason for big smile is fuel economy improved from 34kmpl to 40kmpl.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
I have crossed 3200 kms so far, 2nd service done.
Riding in bumper to bumper traffic, the engine gives out too much heat. I feel this on my ankle.
Is this normal?
Facing the false neutral in display
, even though the bike is running in 1st gear.
Any suggestions.

gear sensor in rtr 200 is a hit and miss thing. show it to svc, may be they will rectify it.
my bike's gear sensor was attended during last service, was without problem for about 2k km, now it have started showing erratic figures.

I am feeling the same some times. 5200k done. 3rd service is yet to go. False neutral always irritating me.. Clunky sounds on downshifting. Gear sensor is not all reliable.Originally posted by rsree View PostI have crossed 3200 kms so far, 2nd service done.
