Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
For sure! Just the foam lining to cut out any possible vibrations is left for tomorrow along with the plugging of the surplus holes on the windshield. Should be battle ready by tomorrow and the a highway run shall be undertaken to test out its mettle over the weekend!Originally posted by tanishq View PostDope!!!...... 👌.. do let us know abt the high-speed stability on highways... 😀

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
[QUOTE=Abhishek.G;1287436]Hey guys checkout the new pre production Akula pics
Looks as committed as the RC series if not more. Great supersport styling too. TVS know their racing stuff so this should be a cracking motorcycle.
That tail section looks similar to the one used on the RTR 200. But why on earth is it standing there in a dusty uncared condition. 😕😕😕

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Guys, is anyone running other tyres than stock TVS/ Pirellis?
Can anyone suggest a good tyre combo? Budget 6k max for both tyres.Last edited by Nitish Singla; 04-08-2017, 01:09 PM.

Which city do you live in? In pune or Bangalore, go to mrf's website and check these three tyres :Originally posted by Nitish Singla View PostGuys, is anyone running other tyres than stock TVS/ Pirellis?

1. 90/80/17 : MRF Zapper FY1
2. 130/70/17 : MRF Zapper S
4. 140/70/17 : MRF Masseter

I live in Pune.
1. Checked with 2 mrf dealers on FY1, but both said that it will affect suspension badly.
2. Is zapper s better than remora by a good margin? I have used Mrf vyde in p150 and this is a great tyre. However it is not available in 130/70. Not sure about the grip levels of zapper s. Can you please help.
3. Rtr's cannot for fit 140 section in rear. I am inclined to mrf Revz but they are puncture prone. Any other suggestion?
Also, I am okay with the stock pirellis. Are there any pointers to buy the same in Pune.
Thanks,
NS
