      Hello dear friends,

I am planning to go to Goa from Pune and I am thinking to go on rtr 200.

      So having a query that
how much kms the rtr 200 can travel continuous & at what speed?

Will 100-110kmph will do for 4 hours of the non-stop ride?

as I have done a short trip in past, I was taking too many breaks (after 80kms for 10 mins).
But now I want to cover much more distance in a short time.

surely I will use proper riding gears.

      Sorry if any grammar mistakes.

      Thanks in advance.

Just ride out without second thoughts. Your motorcycle will do 100kmph all day long. Of course that is assuming you have completed your running in period.

Confused between NS200 and RTR200. Both fullfil my requirements and are pretty much the same bike. Torn between them. Will get one of them next week. Please help me out. Thanks

Test ride both and see which motorcycle connects with you better.

We RTR owners would obviously tell you to go with the 200 4V and similarly the NS owners on the other thread would recommend the Bajaj motorcycle. You can't go wrong with either of the two actually.

That said, the RTR 200 is a more modern motorcycle with superior build quality and much better refinement.

It is a TVS product and will last you longer too. After all, there is a reason why motorcycle cops all around the country are now issued RTRs and not Pulsars!

To check the fuel gauge, check if the sensor wire from tank to the wiring bung is connected. Also, check underneath of the tank near the carb and check for any connectors that aren't socketed in properly. It's mostly a poor workmanship from the service center side. I highly doubt any sensor kamikaze. Check the wiring, connectors.

I checked all the cables and sockets and it's all well inserted, I contacted the tvs service and they told me it should have been fixed by now, and they said they will call me after a while to check with their service manual or something. One hour later they call me and tell me that I will have to wait until new speedometer, gear and fuel senors arrives so that they can replace them and check what's faulty. This is so unreasonable and tvs spares takes decades to get orders placed and to be delivered at the service center in my location. Also none of the indicator lights for high beam and all on the speedometer is also not working.

                      So much disappointed

Thank you. Just wanted to know what you said. I have been to the showroom and checked both the bikes and I must say TVS have done a great job with the Apache 200. NS200 though now is better but doesn't come close to the Apache 200 in terms of feel and fit and finish. I'm not a speed freak but when doing some long distance tours I would like to maintain 100-110. Will the apache be able to do it?
