    Hi guys,

Can you suggest me a shop in South Bangalore (ORR) which installs IND number plates?

I looked to order them online at http://www.movellplates.com but I'm not sure whether their plates will fit RTR 200 and whether I can install it myself without going to a shop. Has anyone bought from here?

This is quite close to where I live, never noticed this shop. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

          Guys,

I took my bike out today and there was quite a lot of traffic on the road , within 5 kms my bike started feeling jerky when climbing the flyover and it wouldn't throttle at all. Turning the engine on and off didn't help either. I took it to the side and waited for 5 mins and everything was fine once again.

Is this because of engine overheating? How frequent have you guys experienced this? I hope this doesn't repeat after first service 🙁

          UPDATE:

This repeated 3 more times until I could reach home. It was a nightmare, bike stopped in the middle of the road and had to drag it for a KM until I could start the engine again.

Not getting any thoughts.... How to maintain the whitish area, all around the bike? Its matte White and I have searched/consulted almost 5-10 products, but yet to figure out.
Can't even wash it frequently. Any suggestions mate(s).......

This is odd. The engine normally deals with heat and sweltering conditions just fine. I ride through bad traffic every day and have had no issues till now.

Something is clearly not right with your specific motorcycle which more experienced members can try to elaborate upon. Although this does not seem to be heating related at all. In my experience with jerkiness and loss of power on my previous motorcycle, it's either of the fuel like being clogged or the air intake being blocked. You should get it checked out ASAP.

You can also check for water in the fuel.

                Cheers!

This is definitely not due to engine overheating. Sounds like the air intake is blocked. But more experienced members can provide better advice. Regardless as others have said take your bike to the service station ASAP.

This should not be related to engine overheating. Mostly, blocked air filter or choked fuel line can cause the issue. Can you try to open the fuel tank lid, and then try to restart the bike?
Was there any abnormal sound from engine before this issue cropped up?

Guys this is really embarrassing. I totally blacked out after the bike wouldn't move and forgot to check the fuel levels. I put it on reserve and zing it goes! [emoji16]
