Nearly crashed on a turn as had completely forgotten to pull up the side stand. Terrifying couple of seconds those were! 😵

Using a post-it now to write down 'Side stand up?' in RED and sticking it just under the console with cello tape. Never again! Geez. 😂

Happened to me too, the first few months after I bought a bike. Make it a habit to kick back the sidestand before starting the vehicle, and soon it will develop into a habit.

I generally do the check bhai. Guess was a bit absent minded while pulling out of the garage. Almost ended up having a real effed-up day!😁

Was lucky for sure. Have my home made side stand indicator now in place just as a precaution in case I miss out on checking for the stand. So hopefully no more hairy moments. Lol

How can TVS miss building this feature in the console?

Happened with me today too. But thankfully not on a corner. It pulled up as soon as I launched . They should have a side stand motor which would automatically pull it up as soon as the ignition is on. ASU (Automatic Sidestand up) .

An odd question...!! I today noticed two distinct sounds coming from the engine while idling. One is of course the melody of the pistons doing their thing, but there is another rattling coming from front end of the engine, as if something is spinning uncomfortably. 😕

I just noticed this today after parking in the garage and was wondering if this is normal as it was quite audible. Never noticed it before on the RTR or on my four year ownership of an FZ.

                    Could be nothing though... 😮

Is it coming from near the gearbox? Happens on mine too, I'm thinking it's the chain.

Yes! Precisely. From somewhere around the gearbox area.

Cool, happens on mine as well. Hope someone experienced can help us here.

The rattling noise is a bit unnerving to hear, I checked for chain slackness and couldn't find anything wrong with it.

The rattling is odd no doubt. But as I notice it while on idle, its not the drive chain. But surely from inside the gearbox it seems. Wonder if others have noticed it too

Be Safe bhaii....[emoji4] The same thing is quite common in my case also. I think even my side stand has been slant little more, will get it rectify in scheduled service.
Even TVS should come up with idea as like in bajaj models. Pulsar series has an indicator for the Side stand, as like that.

Not only side stand indicator, the bike will stall as soon as you engage first gear with side stand down on the Pulsars.

                                Cheers.
