    Guys,

My purchase is turning out to a headache now.

I just noticed that PETROL is LEAKING when I turn the valve on or put it in reserve. I went for A 100km ride last night and even did a short ride in the morning and everything was fine. Don't know why it's happening all of a sudden.

Have called the TVS service folks and they told that they are on the way.

Need to get to the bottom of this, really thankful and feel lucky that the leak didn't occur when I was in the middle of the highway! 😨

Have anyone else faced this issue?

Can you check if the petrol pipe under the tank is properly tightened?
Is it leaking near the tank, or from carburettor. Is the petrol overfilled?Pics will help here!

I think it's leaking from the right side of the petrol open/close valve. I tried pushing the tube in but it seemed pretty firm and I couldn't move it.

Update: The Mechanic just took a look at the issue and it seems that the petrol pipe has gone bad (developed a wide crack) causing the petrol leak. He's said that this is the first time he's seen an RTR 200 have this problem.

Petrol pipes don't go bad so early. They work fine for atleast 5 years. Anyway, it's good that it didn't leaked during your highway run.

There is a screw behind the headlight. You can see it from left hand side of the handle... you need to adjust the same....

Update at 12400 kms: today changed gear indicator sensor under warranty which was giving me the problem from the start. Now it is perfect, no false neutral indicator.
Good work done by the service center. Also installed the windscreen visor from the SVC. Bike is looking more complete now. Not tested on Highway still. Will hit the highway tommorrow.... Cost for visor paid is 250 plus the screws extra...paid overall 400 rs. as i changed the nuts for the front numberplate also.

Anyone found sqeazy sound's solution ??
Because one guy saying its wheel bearing problem one saying its front sprocket & ali is saying its lube problem in swingarm joints🙄🙄
Also one question i installed some mods in my bike this time lightings installed led bulb plug & play & hazard light by putting one switch connecting both indiacators + connection ..so any chances of warranty voids??
Note: original wiring is there.. Without any cut or connection

I also had a squeaky noise at the rear brake which is solved at the SVC. maybe the rear brake pads where not properly adjusted. I think you need to take it to SVC for sorting out the problem.
regarding lighting i also have installed LED headlight bulb which is plug and play, no wire cutting. But as per my understanding if you make any changes to the original SVC will try and void the warranty even if it is a plug and play. But you have to take the risk and i dont think there is any major flaw in the wiring of the bike. But remember not to cut the original wiring or put any extra load on the wiring of the bike even after the warranty is over. This bike doesnt have any kick for starting the bike so you have to preserve the battery.

                        Hello guys, need your advice.
I'd been to book RTR 200 matte black with pirellis today, but at showroom they said matte black with pirellis won't be available for another month or so here at mysore, but with tvs remoras are ready to be delivered. Should I wait for pirellis or go with tvs remoras? Also the mechanic at SVC told me pirellis can be retrofitted and that wouldn't be an issue. I'm confused.. Need your suggestions..

Of course pirellis can be retrofitted no issues there... TVs remoras are also decent tyers. Well it depends on u, If u can Wait for a month than go with pirellis.. otherwise remoras are also good.

Recently pickup of the bike has dropped. Just did the 4th service. Mentioned the same to ASC but they are just saying to lube the chain frequently.

                            Any ideas on above.

Post service the front brake was acting weird with making noise and a bit of shudder when applied. So changed the brake pads and master cylinder rubber.

Will update on the same soon.

                            Bike has done 9.5k kms

If you feel shuddering, check for the disc rotor warpage.

                              Cheers

                                - As stated previously, an AS200 visor was used. Custom clamps were made from aluminium strips and painted black. (as it can be bent easily and is quite strong).

                                - One hole was required to be drilled at the bottom of the visor to bolt it to the number plate clamp.

                                - Four false chrome buttons (from a Unicorn according to the mechanic) were used to seal off the additional stock holes on the visor (a total of 4).

                                - two small pieces of shoe sole foam were used at the points where the visor is touching the instrument console to totally eliminate vibrations

                                - got a TVS Racing sticker done at the local graphics shop and it looks quite nice on the visor IMHO

                                Photos attached...

                                Hope the above helps!
