Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Two days back i took a test ride of this bike and its amazing.will order it as soon as the abs version arrives.
Owners please tell me what is the fuel efficiency of the bike in city and also about any issues which i should be aware of.
Also, is the fz25 worth the extra money?

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Once u will complete ur runnin period than u will get around 35 to 37 kmpl in city & 40 or + on highway. There are no major problems with this one.. chain noise is there but u can reduce it to a grater extent by cleaning & lubing it after every 300kms.... Don't Wait for the abs variant it will not gonna launch anytime soon & if u consider ur self as 250cc dragster than u can go with fz250 just for better 0to100 timings apart from that I don't think there is any other reason to spend 30k more on the fz-250.Originally posted by teamSpidey View PostTwo days back i took a test ride of this bike and its amazing.will order it as soon as the abs version arrives.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Hello everyone i am a newbie to this thread.... Read All The Stuff Here COOL INFORMATION thanks to all.
Meanwhile I am facing an (console) issue on my RTR 200
i usually fill the tank for rs 200 or 250 whenever 1 bar is left ... So a week before i tried to test the reserve light so i didn't fill her up... But when it came to reserve the fuel indicator bar was still showing 1 bar( at idle too) and the fuel indicator didn't glow up.. Stopped it put it on reserve switched off (oil on now) it went few meters and died... My fuel indicator light glows when i switch on the bike... Have anyone faced similar issues... My 1st servicing is due on 1 st next month... Thanks in advance.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
As per the user manual when fuel level reaches 2.5 LTR turn your fuel knob to reserve, after it reaches to 1.8 LTR the fuel indicator in the console will start blinking & when fuel remains only 1 LTR then fuel indicator light will be turned ON continuously.(This is what I have experienced)Originally posted by vineetx View PostSo you mean no indication if fuel is low or going to reserve....?

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Hey guys it's been seven months since I had bought this bike and the bike is awesome...but recently I feel some vibrations at 5000-6000 rpms at the handlebar even at 60km before I was facing vibrations only at rear footpegs and the vibrations are like the engine is straining at 60km and gives vibrations even at 5000-6000 rpms when doing even 50 or 60 and i feel it increases when riding in reserve...my next service is in July...any insights? Should I take my bike to service centre immediately?....thanks in advance

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Vignesh its been a month or so of my bike
There is some vibrations on my bike too but on engine side on 5k to 6k rpm..... I think thats also feels more due to the double barrel exhaust making a distinct sound ( sound we hear and our brain reacting to it ) as exhaust throwing from air both vents at different timing.. Dub dub dub
I think its normal
The straining thing you mentioned at low gears is also true..... So 200cc engine will or would make some of it...
For refference and solution if
you could go to svc would be a good idea.... See what they about it.
