Gears will be fine after the first service just complain them about the same.
So you are saying that after some more kms on the odometer, the feedback improves? I am not so sure about that .. but if that happens, i would be very happy..The feedback on this one is just like my duke of course it's abs .. I hope they let out the abs upgrade so that I can opt for it.. thank you
The night breakers are not bad.. tbh I didn't actually check the stock one.. I had a spare one laying around so I was like what the hell let's swap it.. I have been using it on the Duke too you won't see much of a difference in low beam but the high beam is sort of whitish and somewhat improved.. will post pictures anyways so that you can compare

Did they change the gear sensor?? Even I am having the same issue of wrong gear indication.
And isn't the engine oil to be changed at 1st, 3rd and 5th service?? I didn't change the oil at 4th service as the manual didn't indicate it.

Yes he means the same! The brakes would feel like they have been polished with oil right? But clock 500-1000kms, Apache's brakes work the best from then!
Coming to the feedback, i find them best in class. The duke as you have one as well, has wooden feeling yes? And makes this typical bybre noise.
Abs can be fitted, you'll have to pay a lot!

They haven't changed the gear sensor, its the shifter play thats giving the problem. I think they adjusted the same I have changed the engine oil at all servicings. Its not worth keeping the oil for 6000kms. Thats too much to expect from TVS oil.

I got my Apache RTR 200 on Wednesday(Carb + TVS Tyres) in matte black. It was first rtr 200 in my city and surely it was a head turner and grabbed a lot of attention. Since this is my first bike and I am 19 years of age, any pro tips are very welcomed. Thanks!!😁

Whats the reason of underestimating it? It can easily do much more kms than what you are planning

if you are into buying rtr 200, only carburetter variant is present. Where is efi variant for you to get confused?

The bike is more than capable of covering more than 1.5 in a day. What I would like to mention is, not to plan a trip if the bike is still under run in period. If you've sorted the run in period, there shouldn't be any problems per se.

With the current status quo, even TVS wouldn't know when to launch theEFI model. With the law turning again, they will be required to launch an FI, it's definitely in the cards, but when is best left to TVS. Carb or EFI doesn't make a big difference. Carb is easier to tune up servicing, EFI requires proper diagnostic tools and a trained mechanic who can handle FI related conundrums, if in case they do occur.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        Have some quick queries :
1- Sometimes in Neutral also, the bike refuses to move, upon applying the clutch,it does? - Shall I wait till the first service or take it to the svc immediately? - currently 180kms on the odo.
2- Bike stops too frequently in 1st gear in traffic etc for the first few kms after the start, however it doesn't recur post that.
3-The dashboard keeps showing fluctuating displays for the fuel indicator bars.

Please let me know if all this are normal before the first service or it needs to be immediately addressed?
                        TIA.
                        Race ON!

I am feeling the heat at my legs when i travel for 10 kms .

Let me know if you got this sorted out . I am planning to give the bike to the svc for the first service in a couple of days after i finish 500 kms .
