How many kms completed. How can chain go wrong so early? Some quality issues are there in this bike....and still the parts are also not easily available after so many months after launch.

Done only 1200 kms. Lubed the chain 3-4 times in 45 days of ownership. I drive sedately with smooth on-off throttle transitions.

Thats very less. After changing the chain please check and confirm if the problem is solved. My bike has done 8500+ kms till now and i think the chain being exposed to dust in open will get spoilted very early. i am expecting it to give way in between 10000-12000 kms. So i am nearly it. Before i used to lube it once in 2 weeks but now after 4th service i am lubing it every week.

I guess that the chain had problems since the purchase of bike. Maybe manufacturing defect. That's why I need to replace it so early. The chain set on my pulsar 150(with chain cover) used to last for 35k kms

Yes for me also same. My earlier P150 with chain cover lasted long enough. But this has no chain cover which is a minus point.

The funniest part is that pulsar are always known for their chain sound and chain issues.

Don't know about. Apache ones. But my earlier ones in p180 lasted about 30000 KMS more or less sometimes

Well it eventually becomes part of the bike noise
You don't even hear them after few years

On bikes with open chain like p180, the noise is simply annoying. On p150, chain cover suppresses a lot of noise and if lubed well, it is almost zero.

Really but had remove chain bracket after 25000
So they would last 5 ,to 10 k more

Also a friend of mine with another p180 chain lasted about 40ks
But he is a slow and steady rider

The only issue that I have faced with the tyre is it's inability to keep the back of the bike stable on bumpy roads while I am speeding, it just slides a lot while the back tyre suddenly looses contact and then comes in contact with the road. But then again this may be due to my bad riding.----consecutive posts auto-merged-----For those of you who might want to know, the indicator costs 190 a piece and 350 for the mudguard stem(mud guard consists of 3 pieces and stem is the leg portion which is attached to the forks, the whole set costs around 1500) and the headlight mask(the plastic surrounding the headlight) costs 300.It would have been really cool if someone could share any links to rtr 200 parts price list if available. I have been searching for a whole day and couldn't find any. If it's already been posted here pardon me.
Forget about the brakes , even when i am going at 10 -15 kmph speed . i see a lot of unbalanced friction in the tyres i can feel it . I think i will just have to live with it now .
