Like one of my friend bought a fz25 a few days back..after riding his bike when i got back to mine..the engine felt as smooth as the yamaha engine!
Let your bike's run in period get over..
You will then feel the true potential of the engine!
And coming to Bajaj..i have owned 2 Bajaj bikes..and their engine quality is not that great..
Which bike FZ25 or RTR200, will you rate better in terms of driveability on city as well as highways?

        Hmmm..its tough..
Both are good in their own ways..
Fz's biggest advantage is the torque which comes in at 6500rpm..
And its almost 2nm more than the rtr..
Flickability wise both bikes are almost the same..but Fz gives you a more controlled feeling coz of the handlebar(personal experience)..
But anyday fz is faster due to more power and torque and Fi..
Will be interesting to see how the rtr fi performs..that might give a tough fight to the fz..

Also what about the driving position in terms of riding for long hours on highway?

              That way i think rtr..
I have ridden my rtr for 3000kms ride which i covered in 6 days..
              It was a comfortable experience!
Seat is well padded..had very less butt ache..fz's seat is not that well padded when compared to rtr..

                I would say not much!!...
See the thing is... No doubt fz250 much more faster than rtr200 for obvious reasons but if u ride them u will not feel much of difference in the city.. rtr200 offers very good handling.. capabilities than fz250. On highways even though fz250 offers slightly higher crusing speeds... On rtr200 u can cruise around 100-110 all day whereas in fz250 u can do that on 115-120 max... 100 kicks in rtr @7000rpm just 500 more than fz250. For better handling & equipment for sure rtr200.. for torquey performance & slightly more top speed u can go with fz250 & both the bikes have refined engine.

Is this bike comfortable for tall riders?? I read a lot of reviews saying that entire Apache range is not suitable for tall riders. I'm 5'11 3/4 ish [emoji14] (6 ft).

Previously I messaged TVS in their FB page regarding ABS and Fi version. They asked for my contact number. Today I got a call from the customer care. They told it may be launched any where between Now and September 2017. But they can't confirm the date yet.

There is nothing like that... M 6ft tall & i have no issues with it... It will be better if u will take a test ride & see it by ur self.

That's a window of 6 months - ridiculous! I hope they launch it in a month or two. Someone posted news couple of days ago about TVS making them available in India, not sure when!

Second day of ownership : 70kms on the ODO as the comfort levels on the saddle gradually increase. The engine continues to pleasantly surprise. The handling is outstanding. Further, getting to terms with the braking performance, which still gives a few jitters in terms of bite and feedback.

However, the dreaded 'check fuel sensor' blink message is doing its thing with gusto. It is regularly popping up even during cruising. Highly irritating no doubt and it seems to stop the console button from functioning too. 😮😬. Any pointers guys?

Hi guys, I would like to share my experience regarding a 350 Km ride I did in a single day. When I started in the morning, it was cold outside and the bike ran very well. There was no vibration or engine stress while cruising at 100-110 Kmph. The power was adequate but I did miss the presence of 6th gear, many a times I tried to shift up but then realizing that the 6th gear is absent. The seating position is just fine and I didn't get any sore palm, but after nearly each 80 kms of ride I did felt little sore bum but I think that's okay, there is nothing to complain about the seat. One issue I noticed is with the TVS Tru4 Engine oil, morning as I said the bike was running fine since the outside temperature was low but in the afternoon, in scorching heat when I was cruising even below 90 Kmph I felt like the engine is stressing and I believe this was because the viscosity of the oil dropped with higher temperature. This made me conclude that TVS engine oil is definitely not for long rides. Maybe we should go for Motul 7100 10W40 or Shell Ultra 10W40 for longer rides since these oils will retain its optimum viscosity up to higher temperature. I did not have any other issues or concerns with the bike. The bike is good as always and I love to ride it as much as possible. I am currently thinking of a ride from Chennai to Munnar and the bike just completed 6000 Kms and 3rd service also was done. So, let's see how it goes. I am confident on the bike and feel like the bike can do even longer ride with proper lubrication and engine oils though . Let us know if anyone of you guys also did longer run and felt the same thing I felt. And also do share your ride story. Cheers!!!

Fuel sensor check error is normally the sensor clip is loose. Either go to SVC and get it fixed or wait till 1st service and get it fixed nothing major issue in that. Normally everyone has faced this problem. This is normally because the bike is kept in godown with all the sensors and wires disconnected and after bringing to showroom or while bringing to showroom they are attached. So it may not be properly attached.
