TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Ownership Experience

    Guys. Quick survey on what is the range you're getting on your RTR200 with a full tank (under various conditions).

    -Normally under 100% city riding, I get around 330-350kms

    -after my last full tank, I managed to get 400kms (of which 260 were on a highway). I find this to be super as I never ever managed more that 360kms on my old FZ.

    It seems that on a tour (100% highway) the RTR would manage around 420kms on a full tank, which seems great.

            Guys, am little confused between using normal petrol or premium petrol for my apache rtr 200, anyone used premium petrol for your bike and noticed the difference in mileage, pickup and smoothness of the bike?I used premium petrol while going for a long ride on my bike and noticed a considerable difference in smoothness of the engine, but some people advice against using premium petrol for the bike saying it can damage the engine. Is it true?? please share your experience guys thank you in advance

              Its not like it damages ur bike engine. Truth is if u dont use it regularly it can effect the engine. Its like , if u drink tap water regularly , therefore drinking packed mineral water will cause you to fall sick .

                    Does anybody own a yellow RTR 200 here? I have been to multiple dealerships in Bangalore and most of them don't know a yellow exists! One of them said they can get it from Hosur but they will need 50% advance. I haven't seen the colour IRL so I am hesitant to do that.

                      Yellow variant has not been launched commercially as per my knowledge. It's only been seen on the race track at the TVS One make championship, and for media testing during original launch (it was the FI model if I remember correctly). I am unsure how that dealer is claiming to bring one. Be a bit careful here.

                      It's a fantastic colour though. Bit of a golden yellow.

                        I see, thanks. Yes, this yellow looks great, esp in matte. I like the red and grey mattes also so I have enough choice without having to risk ₹₹₹ for the yellow.

                        The dealer also mentioned that all his 200s were FI and they don't sell carbureted RTR 200 anymore. Is this true? Seems... suspicious.
