Wow. For safety reasons? What if you have to see the trip meter on the move? Does one have to stop the bike for that?

No need to stop, just reduce the speed to less than 10kmph [emoji12] [emoji12]

Is there any one having this type of issues?

I've owned the red beast with pirelli rubber.
When the bike runs in reserve, the tripf meter shows up i guess. It Will show the normal odo once refuelled. The console is very carefully designed with loads of features, you can set at what RPM gear shift light glows. It indicates when the service is due. Only thing that i guess which falls short is the low oil level indicator and side stand indication. thats a lot to ask again. Iam satisfied with the bike. Rode uphill, took steep curves and non stop rode it for abt 150kms no problems whatsoever. Did 450kms long ride and enjoyed it without any niggles. Its a worthy upgrade, and people thinking to go for hornet or gixxer are requested to consider this bike, if incase milege is not a constraint. I completed 1750kms and my 2nd service is yet to be done. Matte black is an all time fav color.
This was my ownership experience in past 75 days.
Mileage roughly might be 35kmpl city + highway.

          Hello guys

So i asked for matt red and pirelli...got neither

2 heartbreaks later glossy black caught my eyes..n boy it looks bad ass. Booked black beauty and 4 days later i took it home with a grin. Attaching few pictures... The bike had 2 kms on the odo and rest everything seemed perfect.

Got it coated from care it and they did a wonderful job.

I have done 139 kms yet..no complains with the bike, however run in period is giving me tough time in pune

Yes, I checked with 3M, they do not do for bike.

Getting matte red with pirelli is a tough chance.i had booked it then received it after 20days..some guys didn't received there booked one as it was being delivered as first come first serve. My dealers received only 2 red color which were equipped with pirelli. I got one from them.
Anyway, glossy black looks really aggressive..i liked that too.;-)

                            Just found this article

not sure if its applicable for 200 also.

                            Cheers!

Today i calculated the average of the bike and oh boy she did return me 39.50kmpl 2nd time.
For the 1st time she (rtr200)gave 40.20kmpl but i thought it might be the calculation mistake but she proved me wrong although i was not riding her constant at 50 i had driven her above 100 for few minutes (not more then 5mins)still she gave 39kmpl.
                              So i m really happy.

About the riding experience i truly felt the power of rtr200 in the 3rd gear as she accelerates it is really helpful in the traffics.
I feel that she provides a perfect balance between the calm & rocket ride.as unlike the duke their is no need to keep her at boiling point just twist her and she will go zooommmmmm and when ever i ride her at 60 i enjoy as she puts a big smile on my face with the bassy sound and comfert and yup the looks.

                                One Question friends,
I am going to buy a bike.
And will do a trip of 900 km one side to my sister's home in Gujrat.
So can this RTR 200 bike will manage to do it?
Does this bike can manage to cruise the whole journey in the speed of 90-100?
                                Please help me,
