Can anyone post pics of the helmet given by tvs with the bike?
Edit: Anyone who has taken delivery of the bike, can you tell me what all was given to you by the dealer along with the bike ? What accessories are included in the on-road price.

went again yesterday to the Nagar Road and Rasta Peth TVS branch, the Nagar road one doesn't have any new update, not even a demo one, but the Rasta peth one was clueless about rtr 200, he directly said to come next month, even for the carb version, they didn't have any sort of knowledge about it....

Same experience with Nagar Road, Century TVS Wakdewadi. Shirlee TVS Mundhava gave a timeline of 1'st July. I've booked one in Shelar TVS Kothrud, been told they will call me as first lot arrives.

Testing time these.. for the prospecitve buyers of course!

Owners please feed us with something like few pics or updates on performance and experience with the bike.

Ah, just before Mundhava gaon, near Bharat petrol pump, opp Police Chowky.. The name is Shirley TVS.

Its decently spacious and can be located easily....

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

Check back for updates. Posted pics too!

Comparison on how the bike is :
4 hours on the Apache 180 in peak traffic feels like you don't have a body anymore.
4 hours on the Apache 200 in peak traffic feels like a 30mins ride. The seats are super comfortable and the engine doesn't heat at all. Almost like you can touch the engine with bare hands.

I see you already own a P220, why an RTR200? which is pretty much with same power figures, just curious..!

Hahaha, No my friend. I do not own it anymore. This picture was clicked way back in 2009. After that I have had alot of bikes. Last month got a Mahindra Mojo also.
Now selling my Hero Xtreme for RTR 200 4v to get a powerful commuter.

The clutch on the 200 makes me feel that the clutch on my 180 is fried
But few people find it heavy, i find it perfect for launch though.

Coming to the brakes, the rear one is amazing. Front is the same as the 160/180 and you might feel its small. But the braking performance isn't affected. The front suspension was soft on the 1st batch bikes, the newer one's are much stiffer and braking is top class. Very good feel and feedback from both brakes.
I'm sure though many will complain that front brake doesn't have good bite, fact is RTR's front brakes only work well after it has covered ~1000kms.

                              Hope this helps!

Now I am frustrated, so thinking of cancelling and wait for EFI model itself. What you say guys is it worth to wait for EFI engine? How long it may take?
Dealers here doesn't have any clue what so ever about bike production and delivery dates ! So can't trust them anymore
Even I am waiting for the matte red variant, but for the carb+tvs tyres. Here in Hyderabad they are unable to provide any update on the matte red variant. Currently white and grey are available and the black ones are due to arrive in a day or two if not already.
Do you have any idea if they are launching the base variant in matte red??!! because i read somewhere that they are not going to launch each of the seven colors for all the variants.

You can refer to the following link: 6-8 variants of TVS Apache RTR 200 to be launched by April
