I asked for another test ride today and was lucky to get one while it was drizzling. I've had issues riding in the rains with my previous bikes. Rode for around 15-20 mins around the showroom in mediocre traffic situation and was very pleased with the bike's performance and braking.

Had to be sure as I'm going to be downgrading by 300cc 😂

Will post some pictures and my reviews as soon as I get my hands on it.
welcome to the TVS club, where once you are in, you never leave ;-)
i assure you it will not be a downgrade that you feel... keep us updated with your bike pics as and when u get them.
ensure you take a neutral third party (friend, relative) with u during delivery...

Thanks bro! I hope so too.

I usually am a very rational person, won't get swayed with the tempting bike and will look at every single defect or flaw I can find.

Took my parents with me as they were against me buying this bike (they hadn't seen it even once). My dad was very upset with my decision as he feels it's an impulsive purchase and one that I don't need as such.

A few hours later I just asked him what he felt about the looks, he couldn't stop praising it. He just went on and on about the way it looks (he has ridden a two wheeler or he would go crazy about the ride too).

I was quite impressed by his feedback. So to address your point about taking someone neutral with me, I think they'll swoon over the bike much more than me.

I tried but I just couldn't stop myself from being impulsive!

Called up the showroom and asked if I could pay in cash and take the bike home till the time the loan gets processed and get the cash back when the loan is approved, which will take about a week. To my surprise, they agreed and the bike is parked in my garage right now!

Rode it from Saki Naka to Bandra and it was too difficult to control the urge to twist the throttle. The bike is refined to another level. Noticed ticking sound from the engine when I got back and I'm guessing it's because it must've heated up with a ride of about an hour.

Will post some good images of the bike tomorrow but for just a picture of me on the bike.

Congrats for your bike. Happy and safe riding. How much did you pay on-road for the bike? Because you got it pretty quick. So they must have charged some extra amount as per my assumption.....

Hey thank you! Not used to riding since almost 2 years now. Should be back in the game very soon.

Yeah buddy! Saw it on and took a test ride on the 12th, booked on the 13th and picked it up on the 14th. The cash option to pick it up was there since day one. They had glossy white, matte red, matte gray and matte black in stock. No pirelli Tyre option. I anyway find the stock tyres quite good so didn't want to spend extra.

Thanks man. I paid 109k on road minus 500 bucks as I didn't take a helmet from them. Wasn't charged anything extra for taking the delivery soon or anything. In fact, another dealer quoted 1k extra and delivery was available post 2 months and the booking amount was 5k (Abhishek TVS, the place where I bought my bike, charged me 1k to book) .

Overall, very happy with this particular dealership!

Thank you. It's not okay to ride on TC number plate. I can manage to ride around in Bandra, I guess. RTO work will be taken care of by the showroom people.

What did they tell you about the ABS version? Do they have any clue about its arrival date? What's the use of announcing a model, it if they can't provide it? Good luck.
