Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Yesterday i got the call from tvs office they were taking the feedback of the bike Performance & all...they also asked abt assistance of the dealer whether they were help or not during the bike's delivery. Its really nice to that company is taking care of its customers..
though my brother owns a as200 he bought last year but he never got such call regarding the customers feedback from bajaj.

How do you find the rtr 200 in comparison with as 200 in terms of handling, comfort , ride quality , powerOriginally posted by tanishq View PostYesterday i got the call from tvs office they were taking the feedback of the bike Performance & all...they also asked abt assistance of the dealer whether they were help or not during the bike's delivery. Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Overall i would say its way better machine if we compare it wid the as 200 or 200ns
Engine refinement is top notch.
Acceleration is very good.
Seats are comfortable but riding position is not as comfortable as AS200.
Rtr200 has more aggressive riding position.
Handling is one of the best in class.
This bike really gives you confidence to push it hard wid greater amount of confidence unlike pulsars which only focus on higher top speeds. Frankly speaking this is one the best bikes available in 200cc category as of now.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Got whole rim changed as ADS guys admitted that it can be bent already and they didn't knew it. (How can i be so careless that i didnt noticed it!) It clocked barely 25kms and I went out of town, so bike at home for over 20days not ridden. I found it on the day when i came back. I don't know if they swapped wheel from another bike in godown or as a new part. But i am happy because they did it without any arguments. my bike is all okay now. Can you guys please tell me where you have purchased this bike in Bangalore. I am looking for a good dealership and a good sales guy contact as I am thinking of going for this bike. Also has the ABS version been released.
Thanks in advance for the helpAs I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep
But if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God, protect my sweet ride

Surprised at the answers though these showrooms have bad reviews on Google from multiple genuine looking profiles. Even the thread starter Bhanu noticed something amiss in his bike 84 km/hr top speed etc from ASHWA tvs. However I will check them out.Originally posted by Sabaig Singh View PostCheck out Prakruthi TVS near Rockline Mall, Jalahalli. The other dealers I have shortlisted are (in decreasing order of preference)
1. KUBERA motors HSR.
2.Tristar tvs kodihalli
3. New TRIJAL showroom whitefield.
Thanks everyone in advance.
Can someone here please tell me their experiences with these dealers. I live near manyata tech Park and have tvs dealers close to me. But looking at online reviews and my personal interaction with them I don't want to get the bike through them.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
So today i took the bike out in a heavy traffic generally i avoid to take it out in a bad traffic.. (i don't wanna stress the engine from frequent gear changes) but toady due to some urgent work i took it out.. everything was fine i returned home safely but when i switched off the engine i noticed some smell coming out of engine like old Mobil burning... As i was in heavy traffic i had to change the gears frequently & sometimes at 5k rpms to overtake..& today it was also raining.. can someone plz tell wats the reason behind that smell...
Note:- till now i clocked at 464kms

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Even happens wid my bike... But happens only when it rains... Not any other time... My friend told me it's cos of rainwater evaporating suddenly wen ur comes in contact wid engine... it didn't make sense why smells like engine oil but I didn't worry much as it happens in rain only...Originally posted by tanishq View PostSo today i took the bike out in a heavy traffic generally i avoid to take it out in a bad traffic.. Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Looks like the rain is the main culprit here or may be the engine oil is getting old.... coz earlier i haven't noticed anything thing like that...!!Originally posted by Shrilakshmi Prasad N View PostEven happens wid my bike... Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
As per dealers here, CBR 250 ABS version is not available for last 6 months - they are not accepting bookings either. I don't want to consider CBR 250 if it is without ABS. RTR 250 with ABS is not in the sight eitherOriginally posted by Pulsaroid View PostI visited Honda showroom on 9th August. Ask about CBR250, they didn't told me anything like that. 1 month waiting period was there for 250. And for CBR150 2015 batch was available as it's production has been stopped according to them. As my friend wanted hornet, so I didn't inquired in detail about CBR twins.

Re: Switching off engines at breaks
I have ridden both especially after you started marketing RTR 200 all over XBHP.Originally posted by JS16 View PostReally? How much have you ridden the 200 yet? Or the 180? First ride it for atleast 2000kms each and come back give me the same statement.
If you don't, i don't have any words my friend.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
That's not at all weird. Hot engine oil so that'll happen! More when engine braking.. And it you remove your silencer, you'll see flames
It's not a problem my friend..
I would like to what is so different between 180 and 200 pls enlighten us.
What is so amazing about RTR 200 that it can take on proper 300 cc bike ?
