They don't have any test-drive vehicle, only 1 Black & Gold CBR 250 for sale. I didn't like it much though, looks older and boring. Not big fan of flaring either....but can consider if I could get a chance to test drive!

I visited Honda showroom on 9th August. Ask about CBR250, they didn't told me anything like that. 1 month waiting period was there for 250. And for CBR150 2015 batch was available as it's production has been stopped according to them. As my friend wanted hornet, so I didn't inquired in detail about CBR twins.

IMO as soon as the pillion seat gets a comfortable version, the sportiness of the bike is lost, and it is called a commuter bike. the difference between a commuter and a sporty bike these days has come down to the outer facade, the styling, graphics and so on. the comfortable wider rear seat isn't in line with the sporty looks. hence the trade off...

Has anybody taken the bike above 120+. I have taken it once to 120 but I had to cut down the speed due to traffic. But then It started acting weird after that. At 120 it jerked a bit once like the rev limiter cutting it, couldn't see the rpm at that time. Also after that it was misfiring for about 1 to 2 kms. Like the farting noise from silencer. Now I m scared to take it to 120+ speed. I had taken it to 117 before this but no problems that time. I thinking achieving 120+ speed will be a big task on this bike as u need plain traffic less roads which are rare in Mumbai. Do anybody have idea about this misfiring problem and high speed? 80-90-100-110 is butter smooth on this bike even 115 is quick to achieve but after that is a problem.

Even I had faced the issue of misfiring when I tried to check the top speed but it was not a serious one and it got normal after sometime.

                Hi guys

Can you guys please tell me where you have purchased this bike in Bangalore. I am looking for a good dealership and a good sales guy contact as I am thinking of going for this bike. Also has the ABS version been released.

Thanks in advance for the help

"I don't switch off the engine immediately, I keep the engine idling for two minutes" not necessary don't know what is the intention behind this.

Honestly, upgrading from 180 to 200 makes no sense to be frank because its hardly 3bhp increase and you wont feel much difference it will be very slight punch but you will be used to very soon and of course you get new goodies but, a general rule is that minimum 100 cc upgrade is more sensible a good 10 bhp difference.
Of course if your bike is not in a good condition and budget etc are concerns go ahead.
Regarding pillions seat no one can give you clear pointers because its your mom and can't say what is comfortable for her.
Why don't you both go for test ride ?
                  Regards,
                  Mohan
Really? How much have you ridden the 200 yet? Or the 180? First ride it for atleast 2000kms each and come back give me the same statement.
If you don't, i don't have any words my friend.

That's not at all weird. Hot engine oil so that'll happen! More when engine braking.. And it you remove your silencer, you'll see flames 😍😍😍

It's not a problem my friend..

I have touched 120 but not above that. 140 is a doubt.... but I m afraid of taking it to 120 again. Best not to damage the engine...sweet point is till 115 as per what I have ridden so I m ok with it. Maybe will try it once i complete more kms.

Can you tell me at what rpm did you changed the gears. My 4th gears touches 85-90 and the gear shift indicator comes on.... so I have to change to 5th and then till 115 its good and then slows down.

If you haven't changed the gear shift indicator. That's 7000RPM.
