1K completed in 21 days. Loving every bit of it.
As I am riding everyday now, so not facing the starting issue anymore. Starts in 2-3 kicks in morning (no/very mild accelerator input after the kick completes, will do) .
Touched 101 km/hr(speedo indicated) thrice. Started ripping my bikes after 1st servicing at 700kms. Engine freeing up now.... Exactly this process I followed in my Jupiter.
Had a panic braking experience yesterday. For the first time I will praise the TVS tyres. It didnt skid in the wet and grip is spot on. Oh Yes, the rear break is tad bit weak though.
As I had said before, my concern about that plastic under foot board remains intact. One fall, and will be replaced.

Im constantly facing starting issue. Once I ride 25kms to my work and come back to it after 9 hours, the scooter doesnt start at all. Happend twice now, towd it twice from office to home. Now the scooter is not starting. Raised a complaint to tvs, said territory manager will contact. Never faced any issue with jupiter.
      Regretting buying ntorq.

Damn. That happened again? I thought your problem was solved by cleaning the fuel tank. Or am I confusing you with some one?

Guys, is it possible to disable the auto choke altogether. I will see, if its possible to do so, your problem will b solved. Everyone, please mail TVS about their faulty choke.

First we need to understand what exactly the service guys changed and do you see hicups while riding I mean loss of power or irregular idling .

It should either be the spark plugs or dust inside the carb blocking the Jets . It could also be the electrical system , have you done any modifications to the bike? Like changing the bulb or horn .

I've received motul Le engine oil going replace stock oil with it and see if it reduces the sudden pickup delay

                • Changed my decision

                  Hi Fellow Riders,

The cold start issue mentioned in the forum was always a point of concern. What sealed the fate was the fact that I decided to take the test ride of the Burgman today. I know it is rude to sing praises of another vehicle on a forum which is dedicated to another vehicle, but the feel and most importantly the practicality when I keep my wife in perspective made me decide to cancel the booking of the Ntorq and book the Burgman.

I realised its not as quick or nimble but has loads of space and somehow the test ride vehicle gave me more confidence under hard braking. I missed the pull of the Ntorq when i wringed the accelerator but the comfort level made me realise that this is a better pick for my wife. If I was buying a scooter for myself I would never even look at the Burgman, but at the end of the day I feel my wife would feel more comfortable on it. Though I have to admit as soon as I look at the rear tyre I feel its grossly mismatched. In that respect nothing beats the Ntorq.

Kindly do not take offence to my post. I only thought its fair to share my decision with everyone rather than simply disappear. I appreciate the time taken out by the owners to share their point of views. Truly grateful to you all.

The very first time they changed the spark plug as i was facing idling issue. Vehicle use to stop when its under 10kmph so they changed it and increasd rpm setting.

When the bike was running fine it use to hiccup while starting up in the morning..

I haven't done any modifications and never intend to do it..

The tvs territory manager will pik up the vehicle tomorrow morning.

Congratulations on your purchase. Even I had test drove the burgman but since I already owned swish 125 I did not feel the worth of paying extra just for led light and extend front end with the same performance as swish.

Thank you. Have just booked it for now. But I am pretty sure I won't be changing my mind this time. Essentially even I know this is a Access 125 with a new body kit. I think the state of tune is also exactly the same.

I did a Mileage check of my scooter last week, Taking it to office 14Kms away, that is 28Kms daily and a bit of short runs.
This was done mostly riding single but fairly easy traffic conditions (not bumper to bumper).
                          I am getting a mileage of 45.5Km/L.
The number should be higher as I ran 1.6Kms on reserve before a full tank for which on the meter was 3.86L. ran for 176Kms till reserve hit.

To update on my bike's starting issue, its started now, they said the oil went to the spark plug, thats the reason the bike wasn't starting. They have changed the spark plug (they have tolde 20 days back that they have changed the spark plug, but now saying they jusy cleaned it last time and didn't change) so i dont trust them and asked the territory manager to come with a knowledgeable mechanic from the main branch and strip the bike open and check everything.
He agreed and called me back tomorrow to the main branch. Let's see what he says.
Do u guys think the bike wasnt starting because of oil in spark plug??

Spark plugs sits right on top of the Pistons , there could be chances of oil leakage on to the spark plug due improper seal , but if that is true then they need to check the piston, crank case for any defects due to the oil loss. I would also ask to verify if there are any other questions leaks from the engine head.
