Re: TVS Apache RR310
Just curious, why do you want to re-register it here? You can run the bike for a period of 11 months with your existing MH registration.Originally posted by Akk789 View PostI am moving to banglore from pune.
As I have recently purchased a bike so would like to take it with me.
Can anyone from Banglore tell me what's the road tax and registration charges for Apache rr 310
But yeah, if you still want to know, the road tax is 18% of the cost of the bike and the registration charges depends on which RTO you're getting the bike registered in.
This below link could give you more information on the same --> https://www.carwale.com/m/forums/938...egistered.htmlHonda Dio [2010 - 2011]
Yamaha YZF R15 V2 [2011 - Present]
Yamaha YZF R3 [2016 - Present]
What's next? :)

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Earlier I had asked here about the changed parts for the RR310 since my bike was from Feb 2018 and had no updated parts, after pursuing the matter with my TVS Territory Manager I received
1. Heavier Bar-end Weights
2. Visor Rubber Mount
3. Softer Chain Roller
I had them installed on my bike yesterday.
This is the old handlebar weight:
New heavier weight, you can see it's bigger in size as well:
Rubber mount from saddle position, it probably needs to be seated better because it looks kind of unsightly but the rattling noise is completely gone and the bike sounds a lot cleaner while moving now:
Rubber mount from the front, it says RR310, not clear in the picture due to lighting:
I'm quite satisfied with TVS' quick response and shipment of these parts, especially thanks to the Territory Manager who pursued the matter on my behalf and kept me updated about the status of the parts and shipment etc.

Nice. Ask them to refit the rubber properly in between the visor and the panel. Its definitely fitted improperly.Originally posted by PeasantCommuter View PostEarlier I had asked here about the changed parts for the RR310 since my bike was from Feb 2018 and had no updated parts, after pursuing the matter with my TVS Territory Manager I received

Thanks for letting me know.Originally posted by AP_SF View PostNice. Ask them to refit the rubber properly in between the visor and the panel. Its definitely fitted improperly.
The issue I am encountering is that the SVC that was dealing with RR for the entire last year has suddenly changed their dealership to Honda and that's caused TVS to haphazardly give the RR dealership and service to another showroom one that's not equipped to deal with the RR nor has the trained staff for it. Unfortunately this is the only one in the entire state and according to the single person they have that services the RR I'm the first person to have these things fitted here so they don't have experience on how it's done either.
Heck I interrupted them and told them where to install the rubber because they were installing it under the headlight first, as in under the light's glass
I would appreciate that if you have the rubber installed on your kit that you please give me pictures from the front, saddle position and both sides if possible.

That's a big tragedy. I don't have it yet in my city but I can share some pics though from my friends RR310 living in other cities. Managed to get the top side view of it. I think its sufficient.Originally posted by PeasantCommuter View PostThanks for letting me know.

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Congratulations. I hope you have a great time with your lovely machine.Originally posted by SMotoRider View PostHello,
Just bought a RR310, I am looking for pre 1st service instructions to make sure engine is set for long term. Do let me know as per you experience.
Just be gentle on the throttle and don't ride in constant speed/rpm.
Keep the rpm below 6.5k.
Try not to suddenly accelerate and decelerate. That might lead to uneven wearing of parts.
And avoid too much heating of the engine.
Best way to break in will be by going on early morning rides to nearby places. That's what I did.
Overall. Just be gentle on the bike, have fun and be responsible. And yeah, always wear safety gears while riding. [emoji6]

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hi all. I am attaching a picture of my quotation so someone can help me understand the taxes and all and if everything from the quotation looks alright and similar to what you got while buying. This is in the state of telengana. I want to confirm these with you all before I go to showroom again to enquire (I was busy that day so checked the bike, got the quotation and left).

Also, accessories is Rs.1250. When I asked about it, he said the two rear tyre huggers (front and rear of the rear tyre) and the handle bar at the tail section. Cant I remove the handle bar from the tail section? Also I wanted to remove the rear-rear tyre hugger as well, but I realise that wont be a very good idea as the dust will cause scratches on the tail section. However, I got to know from AP_SF that those are not accessories and I shouldnt be charged for them.
Is the insurance of 11k around the same for what you all paid?
What is Life Tax and why is it so high? Hearing it for the first time.
Facilitation charges I guess are the PDI charges and the normal service charge for showroom stuff that they take care of. Correct?
What is Perminent regn? Should I opt out of it since its optional?
What is external warranty? I can't easily recognise if its 5 years or 54 something. TVS provides 2 year warranty though right? So I am not sure where did the 5 years come from.Last edited by charliekasper; 02-22-2019, 02:00 PM.

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hi guys
For all the engine oil discussions/confusions, I came across an article from the website howstuffworks. I'm posting the link here. I could get a better understanding of what I need for my bike based on my riding style and typical riding conditions. I hope it helps out in your individual cases as well. Thanks
