Thats not true. But that being said, there is no need for manual for service. They will have all the service records in their server. I never took my manual fr service.Originally posted by JStefin View Post

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hello everyone,
Last month I bought red RR310 from Sona Motors, mysore.
At the time of delivery the chain had too much slack and was making noise, they delivered it as it is and didn’t fix till next day.
2 days ago I gave my bike for 1st service, the oil filter wasn’t changed, yet they claimed they changed it. Bike washing was alsp very poor.
After a lot of arguing they changed the oil filter, the bill doesn’t mention which motul
Oil they used, but I guess it’s motul 3000, not sure why the bill is 1200 for a free service if they’re using motul 3000. I feel like I’m being ripped off.
Not a pleasure experience at all.
If I knew this was the case wouldn’t have bought the apache RR310 and definitely not recommending to others.
What’s the use of owning a great bike if after sales service so sub par.🤦🏻*♂️

Sona Motors in Mysore have horrible reviews. Once we gave my dad's Wego there for servicing and they screwed up so many things. The people who work there are so lethargic and laid back. They did not really know what and how about the vehicles. Never went there again. Better avoid Sona Motors and find another svc for your bike.Honda Dio [2010 - 2011]
Yamaha YZF R15 V2 [2011 - Present]
Yamaha YZF R3 [2016 - Present]
What's next? :)

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hi RR owners, just saw this article on Bikewale. TVS is upgrading the following for the RR 310
1. ECU upgrade for more performance.
2. Different Chain roller
3. Better seats
4. Bigger bar end weights
5. New visor design
Did anyone get these upgrades on their bikes? I am especially curious about the ECU update and the seats upgrade.
2019 bikes should be having these updates too I think, what is the difference vs 2018 version?

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hi. Accidentally deleted previous post. Sorry.
I bought an Apache RR 310 in Feb 2019. There was a model already available of August 2018 make. It looked fine and I needed the bike as soon as possible so I got it. I did some initial prechecks myself and had PDI done. Everything was fine but after riding it for a day I noticed that the fairing plastic to the right of the speedometer panel, although tight, wasn't aligned properly. Also the pillon seat is uneven, its slightly raised one side, slightly exposing the inside (and it can cause water to seep in while it rains). I spoke with TVS customer care and they said they will take care of it during first servicing (also the recent upgrades changes the seat so hopefully it shouldnt be an issue).
There are other problems but I am sure those can be fixed in the first servicing.
This is a August 2018 make and I have been told there are have been upgrades to the bike since then. I want to know what are those upgrades between August 2018 and February 2019. Can I avail those upgrades? If yes, are those gonna be free?
Also I haven't received the new SMS for the ECU, etc updates. How can I avail those upgrades?
Please help me with my issue, thank you so much!

Talking about ECU first, a youtuber by name of Sandy's World had to get his ECU updated twice.
EDIT: This YouTuber got his ECU updated 3 weeks ago:
And then again 2 days ago:
But sshinde555 has confirmed the one Sandy got in the 2nd video is the one he has received himself. So it was probably an issue on the SVC's end.
Leaving the ECU confusion aside, it should be these 4 upgrades not 5:
1. ECU
2. Softer chain roller
3. Bigger/Heavier bar end weights
4. New visor RUBBER PADDING
I have no idea where Bikewale got the idea of new seats and or a new visor.
The ECU so far it's only been deployed in a couple of cities and some service centres and not pan-India availability so you might have to wait for it. Don't think too much about it, it's not critical. Whenever it comes to your city(if it isn't already) you can get that upgraded if you ever go for a routine check of the bike or for any small issue.Originally posted by charliekasper View PostI want to know what are those upgrades between August 2018 and February 2019. Yes all the upgrades are completely free of cost, no charge for parts and no labour cost. You can just inspect your bike visually and see which upgrades you have and which ones you do not.
Click to see my earlier post for pictures of the upgraded parts
That post has bar ends, visor rubber visible, what's not in the picture is something I already had on my bike, rubber padding under rear view mirrors so you can check that yourself, you don't need to take the mirror off, the rubber can be seen and touched if it's there.
Finally the chain roller, that's not visible on the outside so I can't take a picture, but to check it simply take your bike over speed breakers and notice if there's a kat-kat sound every time. If you hear it and it's really audible then you most likely have the older chain roller.
As for how to avail upgraded parts, you go to your RR workshop and tell them you want to have the "vibration kit" installed. If they don't listen or if they don't understand, then ask them to give you the phone number of the Territory Manager and talk to him and explain that you want to install the new parts and he'll get something done.Last edited by PeasantCommuter; 03-13-2019, 11:07 AM.

Kindly do not confuse everyone with wrong information. Please edit the post. If there are 2 updates. Provide the firmware details.Originally posted by PeasantCommuter View PostThe article might be incorrect.
To my knowledge, there are 2 ECU upgrades, the 2nd is just to fix some bugs in the first one apparently. A youtuber by name of Sandy's World had to get his ECU updated twice. So it should be these 4 not 5:
1. ECU (x2)
2. Softer chain roller
3. Bigger/Heavier bar end weights
4. New visor RUBBER PADDING

Re: TVS Apache RR310
I have already stated that one person has mentioned he had to go get his ECU updated twice as well as provided his name. The best I can do is also add the links to both his videos.Originally posted by JS16 View PostKindly do not confuse everyone with wrong information. Please edit the post. If there are 2 updates. EDIT: Done and edited some text to clarify the source.
EDIT2: Okay so SVC potentially messed up. I'll amend the previous post.Last edited by PeasantCommuter; 03-13-2019, 11:02 AM.
