Getting a black one delivered tomorrow, hopefully. At least that is what the showroom folks promised. As a general rule I don't believe a word of them, but this anticipation is killing me...

I exchanged my 200 rtr for this one. it was sad to see that bike go. After it went away I was fondly remembering the nice trips, the tyre skids, the downhill braking scares, the times I cursed it for not picking up pace etc. Also it was thirsty, going by the figures you lot are posting here, the rr is no more thirstier.

I may do some crying on this forum in the coming days, oh the chain noise, oh the vibration, oh the poor satellite link, oh the pitiful warp speed etc, because it'll be a new motorcycle and I'll be as excited as a kid. Just ignore me, sorry in advance.

Just went through the October 2 wheeler sales numbers.
RR 310 is surely doing good numbers in that range, especially when Ninja 300 and R3 are in competition.
Ninja did 102, R3 did 42 and RR was at 425.
The sales at this price point was bettered by indirect competition like Dominar, KTM 250 and 390.
This is good for TVS but I guess not as awesome as it had thought.

I'd have loved a naked variant of this bike at about 15-20k lower (*cough* BMW G310R *cough*). It would be lighter by 10-15 kg but the performance will remain the same as the weight advantage will be cancelled out by the lack of aerodynamics. But it is highly unlikely as it may cannibalize the sales of the G310R. I was considering to buy the G310R (not in the near future.... I'm a college student now.... need to get a job before upgrading to a bigger bike) but the pricing took it immediately out of my shortlisted bikes.

Hello guys. My cousin bought a used RR310 yesterday. I rode it for a good 100+ kms till now. I own dominar and i will compare my views with dominar. I'm not comparing anything here. I just have a few queries on bike. Bike has done 3200 kms till now.

Now coming to vibrations. Dominar's emgine is anyday more refined than RR310. Anyday. It's just super vibey. And heating on a bike is also more compared to dominar. That clutch is killing my fingers. Super hard n stressful to operate. It's so bad. I have heard about hard clutches on RR310. But never thought it would be this bad. Gear shifts are also rough. Dominar's clutch is a boon to rider. No doubt it's a fun bike. But above 100 its so vibey that u feel like you're holding that big road breakers.

But i loved the plethora of information displayed on a console.

Coming to queries. I want to know how to check coolant and oil level. It's super simple and quick in Dominar.

Dominor even its 373 cc it can't catch RR 310 with 313 cc... As usual in faired bikes will come up with vibration... U check with Pulsar 220 & Pulsar RS200 also same problem... RS 200 still I have its not rectified yet... N depending upon service maintenance clutch will work... Who knows how previous owner maintained... Other than bit vibration in hike I never faced any serious issue in my RR310

The Dominar engine is severely crippled. The rev limiter hits at 9k RPM (or 9.5k) and the bike is limited to ~160kmph on the speedo. The RR310 can beat the Dominar only after it hits the rev limiter. Also the Dominar is a heavier bike. This is similar to the R15 v3 beating the Duke 200. The Duke 200 quickly accelerates to 137-138kmph and the rev-limiter cuts in and after that, the R15 v3 catches up slowly. But when the Duke 200 hits 137, the R15 v3 will be doing 100-110kmph or so.

It's not about speed. I'm not comparing it here. But engine is so vibey.. As we all know RR doesn't come with slipper clutch. And the vibration isn't from fairing. It feels like from the engine. Otherwise plastics and all fits well. Dominar tank vibrates more than RR.

If we compare speed. RR just doesn't have that initial punch of Dominar. And Dominar generates all of its power in really low RPM.
Again i am not comparing. It's just my views. Both are different bike. I bought dominar because i wanted comfort over look.

My friends own dominars. I ride them too. Wouldn't insult the RR comparing it to a Dominar honestly.

The dominar is built for a price and it shows. The engine feels like it's running on kerosene at times. Also the heating, it's like a stove underneath! Coming to the performance too, won't insult the RR here. That heavyweight champion should be better than the other heavy weights. Mojo outdoes it though.

Coming to the oil and coolant levels, pull out the dipstick on the left for the oil. Check the right side of the fairing near the right fork. You'll see the coolant bottle.

Crippled? That engine shows 160 and does 145! A Duke 250 will out do a Dominar. Oh wait, here's the link!

Hahaha. As they say in India people doesn't understand the proper meaning of faired bikes. They're track oriented. But people buy it for only looks. I never mentioned speed against dominar with RR. We're not in a competition. I just threw some queries. But you didn't replied being an owner. But just started comparing. Both bikes are capable of 150 kmph. Who's going to ride at this speeds?

Don't say that no body rides that speed... And also we r not in 19th century to not understood abt faired bike.... Nowadays without knowledge no one owns bikes... Wt was not there in Duke 390 that has been little done in dominor not his own engine... Reduced initial pick up... And done weight is to power ratio.... That's it... Noting more in it...

Dominar is good compare to other bikes... In its segment in the matter of Price... Comfort in its ride... For long rides also... Like touring bike... And comes with lot after market accessories.... To take long rides... My friend sold his dominor just used 3 months he been to le ladak too in that bike and switched to R3...

You may defend your choice of being an RR owner. And yeah. You may insult dominar. The monthly volume speak for itself. Didn't mind anything of it. Dominar is for touring purpose. Dominar does 100 kmph at 5.5k rpm when RR does at 6.5k rpm. I just said RR engine is harsh. And what you said about dominar feel like running on kerosene, but it's the other way around. I liked the built quality and all. But there are some hit and miss.
