Defend? Defend against an inferior product in it's own segment against a super premium faired motorcycle costing 1.3L more? Oh wait!

Sales? Did you forget the elephants walked over the Dominar? Or you choose to ignore those with the stupids arguments which make no sense.

Now let me teach you a few things.

    1. What RPM THE MOTORCYCLE DOES HAS NOTHING TO DO HERE.
    2. RR does 58kmph on 1st gear! How much do the Dominar do? 48? Why?
    3. The Dominar gets whooped by the G310R which is slower than the RR310. And you think the Dominar will beat the RR in terms of performance? Hmm.
    4. A naked bike (373cc known for the heating issues) heats less than 312cc faired motorcycle (known for no heating). Probably the nerves on your legs are damaged by Dominars heating engine
    5. I have more work than to insult someone else's product over the internet on a sunday afternoon. Get it?

JS16 The KTM 200cc engine produces 25 bhp and 19 Nm while its Bajaj version produces 23-24 bhp (based on carb/FI) and 18 Nm and also both engines rev past 10k RPM. The 373cc KTM produces 42 bhp and 35 Nm while its Bajaj version produces just 35 bhp and 35 Nm and gets cut at 9k RPM while the KTM version can easily do 1-2k RPM more than that. It is nothing but crippling. Say it is for segmentation or for mileage or because the Dominar is a cruiser, it is nothing but crippling. Can you say the Dominar-Duke390 combo and the NS200-Duke200 combo are matched in the same way??

Anyway. We will see the long term usage review of this so called BMW engineered engine. Which is no less than a road breaker in terms of vibration. And for the sake of your price possession. Leave this thread alone for the discussion of your beloved RR fanboys. Don't let your ego come in between the discussion of 2 bikes from different categories.

They were taking a bit of time so I got impatient and asked for the screws and a screwdriver so that I can fix the numberplates myself. They calmed me down and did it in the next 15. Then came setting date and time, the extremely helpful manager of Bharath TVS went to 2019 while setting it, so we had to press the hard button 99 more times to get back to 2018. I wish him speedy recovery.

Initially it felt like a very controllable ship, through heavy Bangalore traffic. I am not used to having a bow of a boat attached in front of my steering. Both my previous motorcycles were nakeds. Very nice behavior on bad roads though, I am surprised. Took to my friends place to show off. I clicked him astride on it.

On this morning's ride things started to fall into pieces, gone were the unfamiliar feeling, I am slowly getting into groove and enjoying it more. There are some minute vibrations, but one requires asparagus sticks in place of hands to complain about it. Loverly pickup. I came home and parked it all the while smiling in my helmet, what a beast!

Then a feeling of emptiness hit me. There was this wonderful street dog that everyone in our building loved. He was playful, intelligent, and always looking for an opportunity to sneak through the gates and make way to the terrace, where a fellow tenant will give him a nice hot meal, cooked specially for him. All of us loved petting him, and he had this calming smile..

Sometimes he used to mark his territory on our two wheeler tyres, but we didn't mind. No point of robbing him off all his wonderful dogginess. However he is missing since this Diwali. He was afraid of loud fireworks. he ran away and didn't return since. My ownership seems incomplete without his liquid blessings.
                  Congrats bro

I never mentioned speed against dominar with RR. We're not in a competition. I just threw some queries. But you didn't replied being an owner. But just started comparing. Both bikes are capable of 150 kmph. Who's going to ride at this speeds?

Please tell me again as to how track oriented the Ninja 650 and the CBR650F are.
Faired bikes have better wind protection. PERIOD.

Ride an AS200 and a NS200 back to back, and you'll find what I'm talking about. Or an ER6N(or whatever its called in India (Z650, i guess?) ) and Ninja 650 back to back, and you'll see as to how relevant fairings are.

Ok. I've had experience. And it was a worst one. But you still not up for listening to it. I just made an honest opinion of myself. It was never about speed. It was about harsh vibration. And yeah you went on and on comparing speeds. I don't want speed man. I want comfortable ride with least vibration.
The first thing i thought after riding RR. Omg. Where is that BMW engine factor in this. I mean Bajaj can make better engine. Even RR has DOHC. Rofl. RIP. And let's not forget Dominar has bigger single cylinder than that of a RR. Maybe german can make a most refined boxer engine or even a 6 cylinders. But can't make a good small single. Or maybe they were on weed while R&D of this engine. And yeah 1 guy said RR cost 1. 3 lacs more tham Dominar. You indeed need to clear your lenses.
