          The RR?
That'd be a low odo reading bike.
Any other bike in the garage to keep the biker up?
Not gonna ask why since I know being stuck with the wrong bike.

What's the point in keeping the bike when I cry about brake pad prices and brake wear when I press the lever and ride? Dad said sell it if you cannot understand this.

            Yep. 6XXX kms.
I'll probably get a Honda Shine/ TVS commuter. I bought the bike for Rs 2.7L on road but then i cannot change the brake pads. I need the service costs to be under 300 bucks.

Hi, Have you seen this thread on teambhp? Here the op mentioned TVS introduced lower priced Bybre branded brake pads. That cost only some 200 rupees. He also metions he paid low amounts for his two services.
                    Link to the thread FYI:

                        From Brembo to Bybre:
                        Price reduced
                        Braking efficiency reduced too.
He does post that the bite is gone and it takes longer distance to stop.
Also, he requested the ASS to save a couple of Brembo brake pads for him.
                        Regards,

Yes. But we cannot ignore the the difference in pricing.
IIRC, The original rear brake pads were ₹1050 a set. But the newer Bybre ones cost ₹199. That's one fifth of the original price. If the reduction in brake byte is not that concerning then it's a lot of savings. Considering the brake pad is one of the more frequently changed parts. Also, here the major reason for OP for parting away with his beloved bike is the higher parts cost. Especially the brake pads.

Got myself a pair of adventure tyres to experiment. Stock were beautiful on highway but not so nice on village roads/ broken patches. Pirelli Scorpion Rally Str. Got them installed yesterday.

Installed them at Manu Pitstop in Koramangala. I was charged 400 rupees. Very helpful and knowledgable people there, some of them were.

The owner said Pirelli, Bajaj and Metzeler tyres start crumbling after a few years. Michelin is the best. He saw that the tyre was manufactured in 2017, so asked me to put as many kilometers I can in the next one year, anyone knows about this?

Now it is so much fun to ride on bad patches, all the road creases get ironed out nicely. Before buying I did some research, and a lot of people had a lot of nice things to say about these tyres. Adventure, here I come!

Oh God...seriously? U people calculate the expense this way ? People dont realise the importance of brakes until they crash due to poor braking. Instead going for such mods, one should improve their riding style .
The reason why they costs more is not bybre or brembo , it's a non sintered organic pads . People who knows the performance difference of sintered and non sintered pads would never go for this 200 rupees pads.
And it's better not to give such suggestions in open forums because whoever reads this might get wrong impression if they dont know one is sintered and other one is normal pad.

Sorry to quote you so quickly but few things are inevitable.

You got to see where we live! I am sure someone will fit Pulsar RS200 brakes on Ducati Panigale 1299 someday too and then say everything is working fine.

Small suggestion : Let people do anything they want. Sometimes learning the hard way is the best way.
