Though i dont own the bike, but i checked in person, the pillion seat is not as high as R15 V2, but its similar to R3. The length of the seat is definitely small. So comfort is out of the question. But i think city ride is manageable. Good thing is that they have provided a grab atleast.

Went to check the motorcycle in showroom.
        Sadly no TD yet.
        Chennai on road : ~ 2.32L
        Black : 1 month
        Red : 3 months
        SBM Motors

Both the colours are good. Red looks better from side and rear. Black looks better from front and looks less plasticky.

I OWN this bike, it is much better than R15v2. it is bit taller than R15 but seat is flat and they have Grab rails so it is manageable. me and my friend are skinny so we rode 100km in Bangalore traffic in a day without much problem. In Simple words non-fat guys can handle it for normal commute but diffcult for fat guys.

            1000 kms update :

            1. The mileage on this motorcycle is just mind blowing. I am averaging 38-39kmpl in peak Bangalore city traffic.
            2. No panel squeaks or rattles or sounds.
            3. The brake and the clutch levers are set higher than usual, if anyone has wrist pain recommend you to adjust them & voila everything becomes normal.
            4. 1st service to be done within this week.
            5. Attached a few pics.

Has anyone did touring on this? Want to know a good saddle bag and also good to know if any customisation you have done in the bike.

You are the only one claiming such high mileage.
I have been getting 24-25 kmpl in traffic and 34 on open highways. I have talked to some other owners as well at the service centre. They are also getting similar mileage.
I have many other things to add which I will do post 1st service which I am doing today.

                          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

To add to it. You are claiming something which seems totally unreal and unbelievable. The RS200 doesn't give that kind of mileage in traffic, it being a 200CC bike. Still if it's true just share your gear shifting technique. At what RPMs do you change gear. Btw being in traffic and in 1st and 2nd gear only, the IMI indicator never shows more than 24-25 kmpl fuel efficiency even if you are very controlled with you wrists. So idk how that translates to 38-39 kmpl.

                          Not ridiculing you. Just curious.

Well I've been constantly getting the same mileage. And I'm not the only one who's getting this type of mileage.
People think this bike will stall in higher gears at Lower speeds and stay on the lower gears.

The riding style makes the difference.

Well i don't really want to prove you anything but total fuel consumed for 1000kms is 26.2L.

And people said the same when i got 54kmpl on the fz25 as well.

ItsI the rider not the motorcycle, maybe you need to shift gears better and understand the motorcycle better? My friends duke 390 is literally unusable in the city, 40 at 4th gear and the engine clanks!

40th on 6th in the RR is a breeze. So you get it, what I'm trying to say?

Even I ride sanely and change gears immediately whenever needed. But I don't how that matters in traffic conditions. I am all the time in 1st or 2nd gear in traffic conditions and sometimes in 3rd. And as I said 2nd gear the IMI doesn't show more than 26 kmpl. But if you do get such mileage yet, which as per the TVS service centre mechanic is not possible, then pray please upload a riding video of you. It will be helpful for all us owners.
