  • Yes the White is in demand and not available easily , i had to use some influence to get a white , its almost impossible to get it.till now only 2 whites out in my city ,both of them thru the recommendation of the Owner

btw , get on with it guys , any colour needs to be cleaned. White does get dirty a lot more in rains.

    • My RTR 180 Experience

Well it's now almost 1.5 months that I have got my RTR 180 and mind my words it has been a litteral fun riding this little beast. Initially when I bought it I rode around 50kmph and then when I got my first service done I reved it bit more and took it to 60kmph till my 1000kms are over.

As soon as they are over, my tourer worm inside started biting me for a ride, and I decided to go for a long ride on weekend and went for a 1000kms ride to Kharapatthar with fellow riders (KenDa on R1 and Nitinjit on Comet). Well my thinking was that I'll be always behind both of them chasing hard, however I was proven wrong by my little beast, that power surge that it gave me time to time was really fantabulos, I easily maintained 130kmph (refer to the thread Kharapatthar in August 2009 in tourer section).

Well that was expected from a 180cc beast in planes, however my fear was the power loss that I use to get in almost in all my previous rides in the hills. Damn! I was again proven wrong by my beast I did not even notice that I am in the hills as the power was so minimal that you don't even feel it. Moreover, keeping the pace up with superbikes like R1 in the hills and the planes is definetly not that easy untill you also have a capable machine with you. It has such a precise braking and handeling that yes you can imagine doing it with this.

All in all it such a great bike that it's commercial is rightly made saying "Why do I race? It's hard to say."

4000KMS, 45kmpl, mechanical vibes and noise are there but for some purpose (to give the feel of power surge),

See, one time high revving doesn't create noticeable effects on the bike. 5krpm was recommended, and you reached 7, so relax, its not that bad....

Just get it serviced quickly, get oil changed and try warming up the bike before use. Idling for 30 seconds or so should help in warming up ...

                • these RTRs are monsters i saw manan taking his bike close to ton may be more next day of his first service & his lil monster is running wild, but it is advisable to keep you monsters below 4k before first service(500km) & below 6k till 1500km

                  • I didn't do it intentionally. It was just that i was overtaking a car on the expressway....
@rider_rock:...1500KM is too much of an ask.I don't think i can resist myself for that long!!

                      • @shivank & Grafix i know it`s difficult to keep the lil monster below such rpm, but at 6k rpm you may be around 75km/hr & congrats for owning the monster, ride safe

                        • I have done 1250 kms on my 21 days old RTR. Im in love with this bike. Everything except the vibrations is awesome. Have taken it to 120 kph bt ran outta road. Not calculated the mileage bt seems like i get 40 kpl in city traffic with frequent ripping sessions.

I followed the Motoman Break-In technique. Have taken the bike to 100 on the 1st day & from there on there was no turning back.

Vibrations & Mechanical sound from the engine does bother me bt not a reason to regret buying this bike.

This bike loves corners & is highly recommended to all street racers or stunters.

the Motoman used some 1000cc superbikes for his break in technique.
