Usually fork overhaul costs 250/-, fork oil around 100 and seals 50 each i think. So total would be less than 500/-.

I have the Xenos bike alarm which was around 930/-. I have connected only the alarm part and not the fancy features like remote start or indicator flash or anything like that. So the only connection was +ve and -ve to battery and no wire cutting.

It is quite sensitive and makes enough noise to grab attention if someone tries to tamper with the bike I am sure the black cat also would be very much similar to this. How much does it cost btw? If its more expensive, then go for xenos.

I checked for xenos and roots security systems. Both are of reasonable prices and quality.

In Coimbatore there is no information regarding Blackcat alarm system.

Can anyone tell me which will be better? Xenos or roots?

Hello guys, after days of contemplation I have finally decided to book the RTR 180 tomorrow for Gudi Padwa. Will post pictures and read through the FAQs as soon as I get my hands on my Apache who I intend to call 'Bichael' (Michael with the bike, get it? :P )

For those who enquire for security systems, just did some enquiries and got some information.

There are some different products like xenos, roots, Minda, blackcat etc.

Of these xenos plays the game with good quality and worth the money.

Xenos costs about 1000Rs in coimbatore with an year warranty.

Roots costs 1200Rs with the same warranty tag.

Minda and blackcat are not much available in the market.

For those who don't know, Pricol industries and Xenos are merged into one.

Roots plays its game on its own.

Xenos security system wins the game in cost and quality.

                      Dear All RTR owners
please help me out. I live in Bangladesh & i was lookin for a 150CC bike and i almost zeroed on Hero Xtreme. But few days ago i saw the white RTR on showroom and to speak the truth i was mesmerized by the looks. For your information, Bangladesh has a CC limit of only upto153CC. so the RTR that we have is the APACHE RTR 150. it looks exactly like the one that has been released recently (beast eye).
The specification of this RTR 150 is, 147.5 CC, 14bhp, 12.5nm of torque according to the dealers.

but i am still in the dark regarding this RTR 150 (since tvs do not have any rtr 150, only 160), can anybody shed some light on this?
If the specification is true is it worth buying since 15.2 bhp of power is what gives it the racing throttle response?

Yeh its true that tvs dont produce apache of 150cc, as per my knowledge its the same 160cc engine selling and stickiring as 150. But dude im not that sure hope my fellow apachians can spread some light on it..

Don't worry mate. RTR's initial model was 150cc with an iesurge badge.

So the model displayed in your country might be the same with the latest modifications(beast eyes, engine cowls etc).

You can definitely go for it.
