Congrads mate. Welcome to the group.

Use stock oil for the first three free services.

After that you will have enough time for the next service. During this period you can use other branded lubricants.

It would be better if you use shell advance ax7. You can change the oil at a local shop since svc's don't recommend brands unless you have a friend or a well known friend inside.

I know there's a forum for this specific part, but thought it would be better to ask the RTR owners itself. Thanks in advance

Also, I got a question, somewhere I read that using different lubricant may void the warranty. The showroom guy told 710 Rs for extended warranty upto 5 years. Is it worth taking?

The above link prepared by prateek will give answers to most of your questions.
      So please bookmark the same.
Until you cross the warranty period stick with TVS oil.
First ask them in detail what you provide in extended warranty. Dont go for oral descriptions given by them.
Ask for templates or pamphlets describing what and all is covered. After that only you can consider whether its worth or not.
Nowadays most of the dealers provide the same. The agreement is with the dealer and not with the company. So you cant get the warranty from other dealers.
So if dealer says so & so stuffs are not covered you cant fight with them nor complain to the TVS company.
I hope you got my point. So decide wisely.

Front tyre of r15 is 90/80 17 , down profile, will there be any difference in speed to rpm ratio??? i think front tyre of 220 would be a direct fit and its descent enough???

not really any difference accept for your speedo will show a little higher speed than the true speed. Not like you will get an accurate reading with the stock tyres. The rtr's speedo is knows for errors.!

the rtr console shows higher speeds. It

                          will show even higher speeds.

It will indicate slightly higher speed.

Whenever a tyre with smaller dia is plonked at front, the speedo will show higher speed and vice versa.

EDIT : Just read about your accident. Thanks god you are safe! Hope you are doing fine now. Take care buddy.

                              Hey bro

For the tyre go for zapper vyde at the rear and for the fornt also check out Michelin pilot sporty, its available in 90/90 17 and grips like a leech.

I am from kolkata too, lets meet up sometime

Since from my 1st day I didn't feel any slips on my wheels even on wet. But now I'm thinking to change ma tyres ASAP.
