How is the Maintenance of the Bike? Average Cost per service,
Cost of Spares (chain sprocket, front and rear brake pads, air filter, spark plug)
            Mileage
Did you change the stock TVS tires.
Any major (touch wood) problem in your Bike.

            Thanks
Apaches come with higher maintenance cost than their direct competitors Pulsars.....
Stock tvs tyres are very very bad even on dry tarmac.....and vibration problem at higher speeds is what TVS owners should be known to.

Problem.? I rally don't count the vibes as a problem.. it's just fun..!! About maintenance, it is a little expensive buy totally worth the feel..

Btw, where is prateek.? Not to be seen around for a long time.

I am here , just viewing silently until the last post by a "pulsar owner". Just busy with a friend's marriage.
And yes, my bike is still sitting idle

Sitting idle.? What happened.? Btw I don't think a pulsar is even a competitor to the RTR.

Vibrations are there for every bike. And why would someone who doesn't own an RTR 180 reply to a query about it?

I own one with ABS and I've never thought of vibrations as a problem. There are only two minor RPM windows where you might feel a bit of so-called vibes. The RTRs get better through every iteration. You will not feel ANY vibration if you wear a pair of gloves. Also by the second service when everything sets in after 3K KMs of road rage and tightening of parts the vibes that you feel in the beginning reduce a lot.

ABS is bang on and so effective that you are tempted to rip at every nook and corner, though I personally do advice against it and would ask you to hold your horses there. I've been saved by the ABS too many times.

Yes, the stock tires are not that good on wet roads and too humid conditions as I think it's hard compound rubber. I request seniors to correct me if am wrong here. But they can hold on to the road on normal conditions.

I saw someone complaining about riding posture in new RTRs. I'm 6' and I'm very comfortable with it.
Run in period should be by the book or it's bound to cost you.

Throughout the warranty period service costs average on 300 INR.

Still I would ask you to take at least 3 test rides on tried and tested machines before you settle for one. And that goes for every other ride available out there.

Wait for some more days. Some new designed RTR is coming. And about maintenance, dont worry, it comes with one of the best engine components, which can take hard ripping and abuse. Only question is ASC. If the ASC people are good and knowledgeable, your bike wont be any thing less than a Honda. The only reason, I am not able to make my mind to upgrade, is because I have got one of the best Mechs for my RTR, and after 3.7 years, its still in showroom condition.

Guyz, I had fit a new front mudguard after the stocks were damaged..
After the change Im feeling my ride so bumpy..
I have never felt the roads that much bumpy these many years..
                                What might be the reason??
Is it problem with the shock absorbers??
