Oh god, you wounded? Though i know how it feels about the bike i say you don't worry about the bike and claim the insurance. Lucky that you were riding with some gear.
Fork, if it isn't too bad get it sorted in lathe work, change the handles bar/s.
    Autos are menace everywhere

Hope TVS don't disappoint us this time. Last time when they teased us with Apache revised headlamps, I really thought that 250CC on the anvil. But...

They have learnt their lesson the hard way & the result? Old RTRs are back in production!

So I believe no funny business this time!! & Since they posted it in TVS Apache page and not in TVS motors, we can be sure of a revamped Apache, might not be 250, but something with higher power. So lets see what they have in store

Looks like most easy to produce motorcycle from BMW stable is 'releasing soon'.

If not higher cc, then at least 4 valves, less vibrations, better tyres, 55 Watt DC head lamps. At last I would say there is no replacement for displacement so TVS you still have 2 days

I have stopped expecting anything good from TVS' side. But still there's hope somewhere...

In 2 days, they will announce, that they will start working on a 200 CC bike, slated to launch in 2014.. 250 would only come from the partnership with BMW, which is impossible before 2015.

Guys its third time my clutch shaft bearing break down under just 5 months and 4k km span. I just got pissed from my bike.. every time engine needs overhaul for a tiniy bearing and cost boomb. And main problem is I don't even get time to repair it. Just have to stand it at home. Last time it was repared 2 weeks after break down.. what must be the culprit breaking the bearing . Mech says clutch shaft is fine. Hell this time I am thinking of repair it and sell it off... but heart says to keep it as its my first bike.

Are we talking about the gear shaft ball bearings? And are your gear shifts hard? As in you can hear Tuk Tuk sound when you shift, somestimes big TUKK
I too have the same problem I guess

Instead of TVS ASS take it to a Castrol biking zone or Bosch express bike service, or other reputed service guy, ask them to diagnose and fix for you. Sometimes the root cause will not be where the symptoms are, and TVS will not even fix the symptom properly unless you own the service center itself.

I am planning to buy Apache RTR 180 ABS. I have few queries.

How is the Maintenance of the Bike? Average Cost per service,
Cost of Spares (chain sprocket, front and rear brake pads, air filter, spark plug)
                                Mileage
Did you change the stock TVS tires.
Any major (touch wood) problem in your Bike.

                                Thanks
