    • I guess whatever brand the brakes are, it all boils down to the stopping power & i think the ones on the RTR 180 does an excellent job.

      Does anyone have an idea how much the RTR 180 disk pads cost?

        AFAIK it should cost anywhere from 350-400rs!

                      Aah.. I wonder Why TVS guys are still not strengthening up the illumination department... A brilliant machine like RTR 180 could have been better with a DC system with a high wattage alternator allowing the users upgradeablity.

                        • I got my first service done today at 610kms.The Bike feels good and everythings almost perfect , i observed that they changed the IdleRPM to 1250. i read here somewhere that its supposed to be 1400.i tired to search the manual for that and cudnt find it. last time i asked y is it 1k he said that it supposed to be 1k.
                          is it 1k or 1.4k?

                          • ^ Anything between 1.2~1.4 k RPM should do fine.

                              • even my 180 rpm dey hav set at 1000, does a higher rpm say 1400 result in better acceleration frm stand still?
