ya man this is my rtr180 desire list

    1. oil cooler (like 220)
    2. mono shock
    3. split seat
    4. Fi -only if it improves performance
    5. dc wiring
    6. 6th gear
    7. projector head lights (like on 220)

    as i said desire list
but if the bike gets thez upgrades it wil b on every 1s list...what say?

add some more possible upgrades if u can think off
than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.

May Be,As I Felt Something negative about Periyar TVS(I deleted that post!).I feel the service at Athickal TVS Thodupuzha/Vandana TVS Kothamangalam too is Good. But Eliminating Vibration Completely from Apache is like Removing Manhood from a Man!(Another Excuse from Owner's Part Justifying the act)
I had a Suzuki Fiero and Vibrations are So Accustomed from those days.

Meantime ,the Idling is Corrected along with Cone Set Adjusted At Thodupuzha Dealer. Now the Bike Feels Good.I Tried Few overtakings and tops at 75kmph today.Bike is Going Good. Now Riding the Bikes Under 5K rpm.
Saw The Yellow RTR 180 for the First Time at Thodupuzha Dealer(Athickal TVS).It is Good. When I went for Purchasing ,I looked for Grey Colour Bike which is not available at any dealerships.Still ,Only Black,White and Yellow are the Colours I see.

        • I recommend that service center only to reduce vibs.. They have inserted vibration dampers in lot of the place to reduce vibs. That things we havn't got from other service centers. Mainly vibs are coming at the peak rpm of torque.

Could you get more details of materials and techniques used and post it here for the benefit of the rest of us?

              cheers

              • Actually my cousin has given his RTR for service there.. He has lot of vibration in his bike after a 640 km long trip. Previously he was servicing his bike from other servicing centers in cochin. He told them about vibrations his RTR, they have added some dampers in flaring and all. Don't know more internal details. After the service the bike was butter smooth and almost vib free.. he was very happy after that.

                • ^^Reducing the vibrations by using rubber dampers will be more of a trial-n-error method rather because the source/degree of vibrations will vary from bike to bike. They can only be reduced and not completely eliminated.

Also i have heard there is no rubber mounting near the chassis-engine.That is the major reason for the handlebar vibes.
