I think u need to change the entire set if u want it for ur apache 150 , but ill have to warn u that the thinner tyre might actually spoil the look. the 110 tyre on the 180 is just alrite.. The superbike type mudgrd is attached to the bike and the complete mudflap shd be bolted onto the superbike type one... i hope its clear for u to understand

ok..so anything less than a 110 section would not look good with the rear fender is it...thanks man....

        • My bike got it's first free service done yesterday at Cochin TVS.They corrected the rpm to 1400rpm .But ,after riding for some 15 minutes ,the Idle rpm varies from 2000 to 2200 rpms! But sometimes it comes down and rest at 1400rpm.what is wrong?Any Ideas?

            • @onlinesatish:So it needs time to settle down(tappets) ,I guess.covered 40kms after the service.
In first service, they tightened Engine Mounting Bolts which became Slightly loose.Clutch lever now has 1 inch play.

I Tried riding the Bike over a straight Ghat Section(I started the Bike in the Hill itself) and in 1st and 2nd gear ,the Bike Felt like Knocking- UNLESS ,I revv it Hard.It seems the Power band in low rpms are not that great for Apache Bikes or Is it Me alone felt so?Any One?

Apache are known to revy machines , and have powerband in the upper rpm range , is it not ? But then I heard 180 to be having a decent enough low end also . I dont feel good about the bike after hearing that .
Hope is a good thing ,

but still the RTR family shows 'pull' above 4000 always, so better keep it above that to have that grin on ya face....

                        • Hiiiiiiiii guys …………..

After waiting 9 days yesterday I got my dream babe “Apache RTR 180 (white)”. Its looks is too good & I feel very proud & happy to ride it. I’m the 1st guy having white MENACE in my Shibpur town. No one can pass by without a look to my babe, so it makes me more attractive to all. Yesterday I bunked my off. & after completing pooja…. all day till 11.00 pm. I ride my babe & have already completed 115 kms.

Rear disc brake, rear shocker, headlamp & blue backlit are too good. But I think gear shifter is a little bit stiff than HH bike. Its handing & pick-up ….. awesome, better than any Indian bike.
My front disc is too much hard (sudden use…. may cause accident) now. I told the TVS guy to lose a little bit, but he said it would be loose after few kms.

But my engine becomes too hot after running just 2-3 kms. Is there any fault in my engine???

But overall it is a best machine for touring & city riding.

                          Thanks……

                            • Hmm..Yesterday ,I was thinking of why not TVS consider that "Oil-Cooler"(Pulsar200/220 wala) incorporated in Apache's.Anyone tried in 160/180s?

                              • @prakash_mvpa if u r finding vibrations after 4 or 5 services. Periyar TVS(Aluva) is the best place to reduce vibrations in RTR. They have made my cousins RTR 160 almost vib free..
