    finally got the rubber band and the saree guard touched up lookin pretty good now

    yeah in all the 180's i noticed the pillion footrest was in this way..

    and yeah one more thing.. does the engine get heated up pretty soon..? i jus ride at max 40kmph and under 3.5 rpm in all gears and the engine is really hot i touched it by mistake while cleanin and got a small burn.. :P.. first time im ownin a bike so pls let me know..

          when your bikes engine is new, it heats up a bit more than after everything is set in...

          even I felt the heat when I got mine after some time it gets less...

            Yes its normal,just be more careful.

            I am actually ripping the bike now and im getting mileage of 39.
            im trying to reduce the ripping :P

                i asked the showroom ppl.. he said he cant do anythin cos it has happened from tvs side.. and asked me to neglect it.. ..well. its TVS u see.. no use arguin with them..

                oh! yeah try to keep it below 4k rpm for better performance later buddy.. i made and intensive study on run-in and it says for Ur engine wells and piston to mate well the run-in period plays a very important role. so try keeping the rpm well in range with varying speed below 50 kmph so that the "menace will last longer"

                            I was one of those who waited for almost a month and finally got it.

                            Followed up with Showroom sales guy, (one of the worst salesperson ever seen) the guy who places the order, the TVS area sales manager. Lost the count of phone calls made to these people.

                            Had booked on 1st of august and got the bike on 28th of august.

                              I am hearing many such cases(only with the White RTRs) where customers are promised a time frame and then it gets delayed for reasons known to TVS.

                              Even we cancelled the booking in one of the showroom as the White one was send to another dealer(probably, by mistake)!!

                                After Yellow RTR....White RTR180 has become the Flagship model for TVS....
                                And also i've enquired with the TVS SV Manager in chennai that 90% of RTR 180 which are booked are of White Colour...coz of its Uniqueness in Colour...

                                Since Demand is more - the delay happens usually.....
                                This demand will get reduce with by year end .... since tvs will produce more bikes as the Festival Season Commences....
