Hi can somebody help Me out with this wiring? I got the basics to work, like indicator and connecting the system to battery. I was also able to provide the current to ignition unit by connecting the orange wire from security system to orange wire on the bike while the bike was hooked off the battery, but the Bike wouldn't turn on even though the ignition motor was working(plus the indicators, break light) while the bike was locked in side lock without the key in. I can't figure where the rest of the wires go! If somebody know, please guide Me as to what to connect where else if someone has done it, kindly point Me in the correct direction. I have attached the Wiring schematic of our Bike as well as two diagrams of the wiring that came with the Security system.

Link to the wiring schematic of Bike.

A day back I had gone to the TVS service station to get a new air filter. On the counter saw the new TVS TRU4 SYNTHETIC, got it for Rs 525/- (1 liter). I still have some time for the next oil change after which I can comment on its performance. The pack mentions that the oil is specially formulated by TVS R&D for smooth clutch operation, low temperature start & 3 Ps (Power, protection & performance). The grade is 10w30.
Now the interesting thing is that the oil is manufactured & packed by bharat petroleum corporation. I know even the other TVS oils (even HERo & Bajaj) are manufactured & packed by BPC. Is this oil a rebranded mak 4t nxt or other mak?

@Mirhawk : Sorry buddy, no idea about electricals here, but I guess you can get help in light thread

@Traveller01 : Can be the same. TVS can do anything Although I just noticed Shell AX7 is good until 2000kms but those 2k kms is very smooth

@prateek2210 even I am using Ax7. found it to be better than castrol power 1, power racing. another good oil which I experienced was the mobil 4t (semi synthetic). I was going to use Mobil Delvac or Shell Rimula but was scared a bit as my RTR is performing great & I don't want to spoil it.

Please check page 860-900(not sure which one exactly) on this thread or use the search option. One of the owners had tried this and yes it was a direct fit but it affected higher rpm performance, the bike wouldn't rev beyond 7-8rpm or so. If my memory serves me right, the top speed was limited to approx 107-110kmph with this air filter.

No harm in using motul 5100 though.

Ah yes. We mostly focus on keeping the Bike running and here I'm asking on how to stop it! Anyways, I have created a thread here, let's see if anybody drops by to help out!

Any general advice on the Run-In period for Apache ABS?
I have currently done 300km's in 20 days. I always keep the RPM below 5 (in 5th Gear this comes to 62 kmph).
I did touch 6/6.5 RPM 3 times and the bike went at around 90kmph. Is this harmful or should this be done once or twice to open up the engine?

and how long should i stay below the 5RPM mark? 1000kms?

It was me btw That too I found that out on a long ride as in city I wasnt revving that high. First thing I did after I came back home was reverting to stock filter

I read the post that the suzuki filter is good for initial but it was struggling to get past 105 kph

Oh yes! :P I also remember you saying that the mistake you made was not taking the stock filter along on the long ride :P

Ideally, its recommended to keep rpm below 4k upto 500-700km then below 5k till about 1000-1200 and slowly open up the throttle from there on. Some people go WOT the day they finish first service, which is wrong. First service doesn't mean that the engine is ready for anything and everything. It's better to gradually open up the throttle till about 1500kms.
Also, during this run in period do go to higher rpms occasionally like how you went to 6-6.5 rpm. This will help the engine open up like you said, but be sure not to do it too often.
