    3) additives from these fuels can damage your piston rings, carb, and catalytic convertor.
    As said before please clean your carb and reset all carb settings to stock, do this by unscrewing and rescrewing the afr screw again to stock. Additionally I would suggest getting rid of the ngk iridium plug in favour of a bosh rr6 dual contact plug for better combustion.

    The stock Bosch plug is better than the Iridium?

      Clean the carb completely and retune the carburetor. Also, clean the spark plug. Use normal petrol. This clears these problems for most bikes.

        The stock Bosch plugs are better than what most other companies provide as stock. But it is known to have a short lifespan and replacement interval according to tvs is 15k km.

          * Total Mileage is only 2400km
          * Air filter has been cleaned
          * Chain tention adjusted and lubed
          * Plug in use is NGK Iridium
          * Fuel used is High Octane Petrol
          * No smoke from the exhaust
          * No leakage of fuel from the tank or carburetor
          * Tyre is MRF Vyde 120/80 at the rear (changed)
          * Engine oil is Motul 5100 15w50
          * Carburetor checked and adjusted to 1.8 full turns but still pretty rich as plug is dark.
          * Tappets are fine.
          * Tyre pressure always maintained 25PSI and 32PSI front and rear respectively.

          Now can you guys find anything wrong here? I know about the thicker oil and fatter tyre but will they make such huge difference?

          One problem i have noticed after starting the bike is that when i give throttle there is a big lag and rpm doesnt want to increase and only increases when i turn the theotyle too much and at times it shuts off. After running in idle for few minutes the throttle response becomes fine.
          Here is what I think:-
          1. May be the Ir plug is not in the right heat range. Revert back to the "stock" plug. Then give the FE a test.
          2. When I shifted from TVS TRU4 10W30 SS oil (aka,hot water) to Shell Advance Ultra 10W40 FS, I could feel the sluggishness when doing climbing upslopes. I'v tried Shell AX7 10W40 & faced a lot of cold start issues. As winter is approaching, I would advise you to go for a 10W40 oil. The thicker the oil more sluggish the engine becomes & more idling time for the oil to heat up (it depends on the environment temperature).
          3. Get the carb. tuned by a mechanic. There is no default number of turns for the AF. The number of turns varies from bike to bike & from place to place the bike runs. I'v noticed that the AF becomes leaner when the altitude decreases to sea level & AF becomes rich when altitude increases, this change was observed with no changes to the screw.

            No not stock plug. The Bosch rr6 dual contact plug. It has a higher firing rate than the stock single contact plug. For reference the stock plug is Bosch R6 and one I suggested is Bosch RR6

              Is dual contact same as double electrode? Because the stock spark plug is a double electrode plug.

                I'll post a pic if possible. That'll solve the confusion.

                  Thanks to all of you nice guys. My stock plug is Bosch R6. Let me give a pic. The stock plug is more black than the iridium. And this is how my plug looks even after cleaning with WD40.

                  Sorry unable to attach pics... will try again
