    Hi.
I have done close to 6500kms on the remora tyres. My bike came with remora as stock. Dry grip i can assure you its very very good. You can do kneedowns & what not.
You need to be careful on muddy , gravel , loose sand.
Wet grip is just average. 100cc bike types.
You will be nervous to exceed 65 or so.
For use in rainy conditions i just drop the tyre pressures by 2-3 psi, this helps to give you a bigger footprint & being safe too.
Its a good tyre, economical & much better than srichakra's.
If srichakra's are 5/10 these remora are 7/10.

        Hi.
Take an empty strech of road which is devoid of mud & loose sand.
Take it up to 60, use the rear brake to the maximum do not release the pressure untill it stops. Try it once more , If the rear wheel does not lock up even now then its ABS.
( P.S - this is only to be done if you know how to control a bike in case the rear wheel locks up. If you do not have the experience of it then give it to someone who can do it. This for your own safety )

Rtr Abs have dedicated abs switch and light. Whats there to check? Rather check if its working properly or not by sbove mentioned way.

Since zapper C was not available in my location, and my bike developed another puncture yesterday. I have no options other than to change the tyre. I could not fit a michelin 120/80 trye, as it is touching the swing arm, and the only other option i had is tvs remora 110/80.
The TVS Remora tyre looks similar to Michelin and it costs 2000/- damn it is 700 rs less than MRF Zapper C.

Will give the reivew about the tyre after few kms of run. Since i have ran 30k kms with the stock tvs tyre, i can handle the bike with this tyre better, hope the tyre performs better than the previous tyre.

Remora is much better than srichakra's. In wet its slightly good ( a bit ) ,but when its dry its much better.

I replaced stock TVS tyres with MRF Zapper vyde for rear and FY1 for the front.. Handles much better, easy to flick and great grip on all kinds of surfaces.. Have done 4K kms on the new tyres and very happy with these..

Tvs has weird sizes in terms of tire. First the rtr 160 came with a 100/80 combo then the 180 with 110/80. You normally don't get these tires so easily. And their tires are good enough to put heart in your mouth moments. I am sure this is gonna be a dilemma for 180 owners and the current model Rtr's (all) for some time yet. Hope Mrf starts the production of zapper c 110/80 spec tires. I guess that's the only alternate option to Remora ones for now. Pirelli did have 110/80-18. One of my friend has got this for his rtr 160. But this was some time back. And its cost a bong then too.... He had shelled out 3600rs then on the speed demon. I personally had a 110/90 pirelli SD on my rtr way back in 2009. It was a little overkill for the bike. But fantastic road grip. For me that was the best dry weather tire so far. You can feel the confidence on the tires even at 135kph( on a downhill). Wet weather grip was ok ok.... Even when you brake you could feel the bike very stable and the bike slowing down perfectly.

Our present stock tyre have 90 section front tyre i think. ( ??? ). We are using the 90 ones. Now there is less of dilemma i guess with remora , mrf & michelins available.
*correct me if i am wrong*. Apache 180s post 2011 have 90 front tyre i had read. So mrf doesnt need to produce them.

i am talking about the rear tires bro. Front has had a 17 inch wheel sinch long time ago. Front tires are not an issue here.

A quick update: Rear srichakra tyres were 37000km old with the central groove worn out and almost a bald patch in the middle. It was a PITA to ride in rains, even a sedate acceleration in first gear from standstill would result in a rear wheel spin, don't even ask about the braking!
So finally decided that I have had enough of tvs tyres and got the rear tyre changed to mrf zapper c 110/80 in sapthagiri tyres, chamrajpet. Set me back by 2.7k :O Initial impressions seem much better, under hard braking there was no wheel lock. Will wait for 200-300km before testing it in the corners :P unfortunately he did not have the mrf zapper fy1 front tyre in stock.. So ill have to wait for a week or two to change the front tyre.
                              pics to come soon

Went to my local HDFC bank yesterday, and there was White RTR180 parked inside the bank for display.

Any tie-up between TVS and HDFC?
