Can u share some pics of the bottle (if you have).

generally manufacturer recommended fork is the best for normal street use, and it is a bit troublesome to find equivalent grade good quality oil in india. so dont worry.

Indian Oil Corp. does not list any fork oil on its website. Bharat Petroleum do list shock absorber oils under "MAK" brand name.

THankyou sir! But it isnt the case here. Yes, i do ride like a maniac and this 28km/l mileage is of the insane riding. I got so much fed up with the mileage of this bike that I stopped checking up the mileage because the more I check the more it makes me sad. :'(

After market air filters allow more air into the engine, that means more dirt will enter the engine ultimately resulting in engine damage. Please don't fall for all these stupid mods. And yes get the AFR checked, this should not be the mileage.

@FortySeven-47 : Ceat Vertigo can be an option too, if you are looking for grip.
Thank you Sir, actually the area Pitampura where I reside in, their are a lot of maniacs here flaunting of their bikes and k&n stuff. This was the only reason that makes my heart pound for getting a k&n. :|

Wat method u use to check the mileage??
Wen u put it in reserve fill up a litre of fuel and turn it ON once it comes back to reserve u get the rite mileage.. Myself and few of my frnds have installed filter and the fe reduces only wen u throttle hardly jus for the music.. If the installing person rightly upjets and u try to maintain the rpm we're music comes der won't be much of a diff in fe..

Can anyone tell me what could be the cause of it? Do tests require that sort of speed? Or is this someone try to fiddle with the bike pre delivery?
As stated before, the showroom guy has ripped it to 133 km/h before delivering it to you Mine had 79 km/h. If it is a speedo error, it goes to 160. In your case it's not a speedo error.
But don't worry, ripping it once isn't going to ruin your engine.

I understood it in first go , thats why I said don't fall for these things. Plus if you ride hard all the time you are bound to get low mileage, on top of it chain health, engine oil used, tyre health does matter too. Even hot temperature effects too. So control the wrist

Don't have the bottle as the job was done at authorised service, the quantity was 350ml. Thanks a lot for your response, even I asked them about MAK but they were clueless. Mentioned your name here in my post as I needed some expert opinion (after your amazing fork oil thread). Will enquire the service guy next time & will try to update.P.S: I don't have the user manual right now, I think the oil brand is mentioned there.

                  Hello everyone,,
Im owning an RTR160 2010 make and looking forward for tyre change for the very first time. Although the experience of TVS Tyres was not that bad its life is good but lacks grip in rainy roads,so i would like to chose some other options from the market. My stock size is 100/80-18(rear),can i jump to 120/80-18 directly? Will it hamper the performance of my bike alot?
So guys please suggest me some good options keeping my interst in concern...
                  Thanks in advance,,

120 spec tire would definitely be overkill. Find a 110 spec. It will do its job better. Any thing more, you need to change the Rim.

For the past two days I am hearing a clicking noise from my right side handle bar.

The noise arises when I drive on some rough roads and speed bumps which I didn't experience earlier.

Can anyone suggest me a good solution?

Anyway I am going to take my rtr to svc tomorrow. Will update about the problem after solving it..

Not Sure, but I feel, every Bike (in Mumbai atleast) comes with odo top speed as 133 (or 132) kp/h from Showroom itself.

Mine was 133/132 (not sure exactly), My friends also wa same & saw 3 bikes standing in showroom with same top speed.

Booked white ABS @Onroad price of 97.5K from Bangalore, no accessories included.
They agreed to replace stock one with Zapper Vyde/C and fs tyres.

                                Any additional mod suggestions?
