I've never had a motorcycle with this setup, hence was curious about it.

I'm curious, what about the timing chain tensioner? Does the motor even have one? Cause I do not recall seeing one on the Splendor/CD/HF motors and for some reason it has never struck me before to ask.

    1. Lockset
    2. Clutch assembly
    3. Coneset
    4. Fork oil and seals
    5. Camchain
    6. Gaskets
    7. Levers
    8. Rear drum
    9. Spokes
    10. Rear shocks
    11. Brake shoes

These are the major ones, apart from them I had to get the swingarm overhauled and other minor things done.

That swingarm rod is actually a long bolt acting as pivot . Normally there should be no need to change it unless it is very rusted , pitted ( rough surface from rusting ) , bend or broken . After taking the swinarm out clean everything thoroughly with solvent like kerosene / brush and wipe with clean cloth . Replace the worn rubber bushing and other worn parts with new parts and also replace the plastic part that is on one side of the swingarm protecting it from the chain . Check that the swingarm itself is not twisted or bend or out-of-line in any way . Lubricate the bushings & moving joints generously with good quality grease and refit . After refitting wipe off and clean the area so that no excess grease remains visible , this will discourage dirt/sand from accumulating there . That's it .

Changed the front tyre today. Most balancing issues are sorted for now. Seems like the tyre was at fault. Should have changed it a bit sooner. The treads were starting to worn out.
