Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
This was a 45min session for 4000₹. Last time I did a 30min session for 3000₹. No registration fee, however, you do get your bike an gear checked for any flaws that might be dangerous for track. This was an open track day so any two wheeler was allowed.Originally posted by wallpapers123 View PostJust because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Hi guys. New here. I am in the market for a used bike. Honda cbr 250r and ninja 250r are the options. I already own a duke 390. This is for my brother. What are the things i should keep in mind? Is it already mentioned elsewhere in this forum? I have to visit this bike day after tomorrow. He quoted 1.45 lakhs. What do u think about the price?

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Hey guys, needed some help.
I own a 2012 250R, based out of Bangalore right now. I'm looking for a credible space to get my bike a thorough check and a revamp. Confidence on pro-biking service centres is quite low so any leads you can share will be very helpful.
While the bike has done only 22k on the road, last two years I've not been able to maintain her properly and a lot of parts need to be replaced or checked. I'm finding it difficult to find the time to get the spare parts so am looking for a place that can help in getting all the spare parts, get them fitted and service the bike.
Things that need replacement:
- Tyres (purchased PSDs)
- Headlights
- One of the indicator lights
- Chain and sprocket
- Brake fluid
- Brake pads and discs
- Clutch cable, brake cable
Would also want to check if spark plugs need to be replaced.
Lastly, I have a leo vince slip on from the start, I'm wondering if there is any merit to go back to the stock. In case anyone has made the transition from a slip on back to the stock, please do share your experience.
Thanks guys,
Vishal

I actually switched to leo vince after around 2 years. Why would you want to switch back to stock? I personally don't like loud bikes but it compromises for performance and the shear weight difference. So I won't be switching to stock anytime soon.
I would personally want an akrapovic if I could get a used one.:P
I ride my bike very less so I usually procure replacement parts from outside. Like I've asked a friend to get me a chainset, EBC clutch springs and EBC clutch plates from US. These aftermarket parts perform way better than stock and are cheaper as well.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Leo vice cobra for exhaust is good option has a db killer so may make it lound or not based on mood.Originally posted by Abicool160 View PostHi guys,
Need some info's. I am planning for a shorty clutch and brake lever. Is there any advantage/disadvantage in using a short or long one? Then I am seriously drooling over the LED blinkers from AVRI. But heard I have to put relays, custom led blinkers and all? Is it a head ache or little effort? Please let me know if someone have put a full system exhaust (any difference in sound and output with slip on?) .. I don't want a loud one, but more docile. Something like AREA P Quite core. Please help me regarding these.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Guys, need a help on zeroing on the front tyre for my 250R.
Please suggest the best one. It should be of semi-soft compound type and have exceptional wet grip. I have been using Pilot Street Radial in rear and found it to be good. However due to the absence of central grooving on the front i am a bit skeptical on the water dispersion capabilities for the Pilot street.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
I was about to reply earlier but then thought of looking for some other option other than those street radials from michelin. Couldn't find any. Best option in my opinion would be to take the Michelin front. As far as the center groove is concerned, I've never ridding a bike in rain which doesn't have a center groove, so can't say what will be the difference. But a few guys I know use the Michelin front and rear both and have not complained about their wet performance yet. That's still something I can't comment on.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostAny help, please!!

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
My friend is planning for one of these :
1. Cobra slip-on - Bachoo Motors
2. 2008-2012 Ninja 250R IXIL L3X Hyperlow Exhaust - 21,999.00Rs..
Video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIOwlx8sd9A
Are these illegal / noisy out of rule even after db killer ?
Is there any way to get it on RC book to legalize it ?
Or if there is any other paper work that can help to get rid of the cops ?Last edited by Sird; 03-21-2015, 02:44 PM.First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
^^there was an article that sunny posted few years ago about aftermarket exhausts being illegal. So as far as cops are concerned you can't convince them that the exhausts doesn't make much sound. So if they notice and stop you, your bound to end up paying fine. There is no provision of updating RC or legalising your aftermarket exhaust. So it's just on chance. I have a leo vince carbon slip-on exhaust. It's with a DB killer so it's very silent up to 5-6k rpm. After that it's noticeable loud. The only time I would remove the DB killer is on the track. Otherwise it's a cop inviter. I ride the bike very less so it's safe enough to ride at lower rpm and avoid any attention at all.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.
