  • Its really sad that Honda is not letting Hero come out with higher cc bikes but I dont think Hero will be left stranded as the company surely has the expertise to make bikes, and I am sure in 25 years they would know how to make engines. The Karizma is a fantastic product from HH and till now Bajaj must have launched atleast 10 editions of Pulsar to out run the quality of the ZMA. This just shows that Hero has the ability to remain the leader for a longer time to come.

      +1

Hero Group surely have there R & D and i hope will come with some more better products.

Now to launch a bike with new features they don't have to wait from Honda for technology...they can now do it own and faster...

features i am referring to like LCD console, LED, or other things as this come up last from HH in there bikes...

      • Saturday evening went to SVC for the problems i was facing
        1. smoothness was gone
2 rear tyre pressure is loosing continuously and now with good speed...in three days from 36 points comes to 26

For smoothness...they found tappets loose....they suggest me to bring my ZMR on any other day as SVC was closing in next 1 hour and to fix the tappets they need to open fairing which will take time...

and for tyre pressure...they check for puncture but nothing found...they again fill air in rear tyre..then ride it for approx. 5/7 Km...but the pressure was same as they fill...suggested me to left the bike with them for 1 day to check it depth...

They are tappets, and not tepid.

I hope there is nothing gonna happen to the current customers...
But we should consider that Honda is the technical source for Hero.....So there is may be some troubles...........
now the news has been confirmed,as before it was a speculation, considering the models like the extreme, the customers wont be troubled much as some of the critical engine parts are shared with the unicorn. The people who own the premium bikes like the zmr and the zma would be effected, but i am sure hero would sort that considering the the rule of availability of spares for next 15 yrs,
Moreover one thing i have noticed is hero honda does make better quality bikes than its counterpart HMSI.

Really eager to know the second part of the story.
Have checked with HH & MRF also for my rear Tyre but of no help.

In fact if observed closely majority are complaining on this aspect.
Probably higher for some and less for some.
Probably tubeless MRF problem. In fact reported in some new YAMAHAs too.
Anyways I am changing to MICHELIN very soon.
They have launched new series of Tyres with exact specs, so no chain cover cutting etc.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

                            where is the vibration from?
The whole fairing or the visor?
started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR
