In simple words, the PSD makes sense if you really push your zimmer to the limits while cornering or on wet roads or above 100kph . For average usage, 100/90 is just fine.

If you are changing your tyre to get better grip, better cornering and better high-speed stability, you shouldn't be thinking twice. But if you want a fatter tyre just for the heck of it, then yes, you might re-consider your choice.Originally posted by alok urs View Post

10k what???Originally posted by alok urs View PostI knw last time wen I enquired it was around 3.3k but m worried about its life, is it worth spending above 3.5k for a Tyre which doesn last for 10k kms?
I've run 9k already on PSDs. It can run another 7-8k atleast before it'd start scaring me. I'd any day happily spend 3.5k on a tire which gives more than ok performance all year round as well as look classy than spend 2.5k and get almost-same-as-stock tires which may give away anytime.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

I still feel bad going for Michelin Sirac Street instead of PSD.. The tyre just looks too sexy on the ZMR..
and its worth the money as far as I know.. Everyone has given good feed on it except life is short.. also it completely depends on how one uses it.. burn outs and riding off road, rear tyre skids etc etc can no doubt reduce the life of any tyre.. I would suggest anyone to go for PSD.. I am gonna get the PSD next month inspite of changing my tyre recently to Sirac Street.. just not happy with the performance in rain..
Divya.. how does PSD perform during wet conditions?? Please suggest
Splendor - 2k to 2006
Karizma - 2k3 to 2009
P180 - 2k6 to 2k9
Hunk - Oct 2k7 til now
ZMR - 2010 to Forever
RX135(2k) - 2013 to 2018
Ninja 250R (2010) - 2016 til now
RayZ - 2015 til now
Ninja 650 (2014) - 2017 til now

Dry grip - 10/10
Grip in morning mist (chilly cold winters) - 9/10
Grip in mild showers - 8/10
Grip in heavy rainfall - 7/10
On an average, one can easily cover 14-15k even after having burnouts et all.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

plug is running lean and hot....and there are some spot deposits on the insulator...Since ZMR are Fi the Fuel Injector may need cleaning.....better to get it done with a knowledgeable SVC...and also check the Ignition Timing....can also try System "G" in Petrol to see if it keeps the injector clean...Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostPSR sir, this is the picture of the spark plug of Sanjay's ZMR.

Just now I have explained him about the plug, and he is going tomorrow morning to the service station.Originally posted by psr View Postplug is running lean and hot....and there are some spot deposits on the insulator...Since ZMR are Fi the Fuel Injector may need cleaning.....better to get it done with a knowledgeable SVC...and also check the Ignition Timing....can also try System "G" in Petrol to see if it keeps the injector clean...
And how to check the ignition timing?

Looks damn good IMO. Just needs a longer side stand (not safe to place on stones) and a rugged rear tire like Ceat's. Perfect off roader. Any idea if the speedo is changed and how?Originally posted by ice man View Post

Its looking like a pumped up Twister IMO. Everything is good except the tyres. Just a rear tyre swap to any off road tyre will change its looks drastically and will look more macho.Originally posted by ice man View Post

Could somebody please post a clear spark plug picture of your ZMR? I would like to see to compare it with Sanjay's spark plug.

Ya bro I agree with u but thr r more cons compared to other tyres for eg..Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post10k what???

1) more puncture prone as it is a soft compound Tyre
2) the grip reduces drastically after 5-7k kms ( as said by someone in dis thread)
3) drop in acceleration and mileage due to sticky tyres
4) price - its original price seems affordable and worth spending for a Tyre which makes u feel safe but due to high demand in market n stupid customs d dealers r trying to loot us which makes me reconsider my choice.
M still searching for psd if anyone in dis forum is buying one m ready to join :-)

the stand is not on the stone ..the stock stand is extended by welding metal.. N you guys have no idea how light this Zmr feels ..n most importantly its got 235cc big boreOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View PostLooks damn good IMO. we removed every unwanted things which increase the weight of bike ..this also include the over weighted silencer of this bike ..to make it more flexible..& to make it sound sweet ..ZMR is known for unstable in power to weight ratioOriginally posted by alok urs View PostWat? Is it a zmr? Superb mod :-)
How's it performing in dis toned down version?
