  • Putting this in a separate post. PSDs performed well in an off-roading session at Kanva reservoir. It was a small 150 km trip. No loss of grip and most importantly; no punctures. Touch wood!

    Ok, attaching few pics too.

Kanva is not exactly off-roading buddy!! But admire the pics - and lucky you got so much to capture. When I went to Kanva, I reached around 1200H and there was barely anything except a couple of drunk locals in an Indica

BTW off-topic, there is a large reservoir on the way to Savanadurga - would you know the name of that reservoir?

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

I agree that is not exactly off road, but what we did was get down on the reservoir bed (depleted without water) and ride up towards the road. Also, we rode the bike through barren fields.

I guess you're referring to either:-
        1. Manchanabele reservoir or
        2. Thippagondanahalli reservoir.

i will visit pit stop today and you remember telling you there was a screeching sound in the front disc at a particular point and i suspected a disc bend but it was actually the front wheel which has a bend to the best of my knowledge. anyways will get it checked today

                thanks for the input dude
i will get it checked today and pit stop mechs are professionals so not to worry, they are at least not going to use the hammer
Bro what happened? Visited pitstop? Thought you were planning on a thicker tyre? U got it? How's it? Performance and all? Also wheel bend how much did they charge? Looks like even mine has a wheel bend

+1. And FB doesn't help for some poor slobs like me who have access blocked on office networks and don't find that wee bit of quality time at home for family, forget social networks

Is it...I went there in Jan and it had plenty of water back then. We did ride down from the road to the bed, but it was hardly ~100m-150m off the road. Unable see your video now so can't make it out.

And yes, it was Manchanabele which I was referring to. There is a dirt road which leads to the bed of the reservoir. Nice place to ride down, though very barren and a pain in summer.

(ps: we did ride down on my friends' ZMR and a P200NS)

Coming to Tyre discussion , how are those MOGRIP tyre's from MRF ?

For white one part no. are

                            Strip R Fuel Tank = 17507AARH80ZB
                            Strip L Fuel Tank = 17508AARH80ZB

No they are different , just as Red , Black , White ZMR have Red "ZMR" sticker in different shades , these stickers also have different shades of Z & background according to body color . Check HMC webs for images .

Nice job . Who's cycles are there surronding ZMR ?

Sibun if possible post the picture of upper portion of Key want to see is there any difference ?

ZMR uses Sensor Assembly in front wheel for speedometer , while Karizma uses Gear box assembly for speedometer & Analog to Digital converter like unit . If anyone going for Karizma Alloy on ZMR then needs other those things too , which will turn out costly & give incorrect readings in speedo .

                            Thanks a lot Bro....
